Nothing like advertised pictures

Staff were accommodating when requesting to move rooms due to cleanliness and being nothing like the advertised pictures. Staff were friendly.

Room was nothing like pictured, no lockers, no bedding, no towel, no privacy curtains - you get what you pay for however if a room is advertised with photos you expect the room to be slightly similar to advertised.

Avoid this place – there are much better options in Canggu (Stolen Powerbank)

This is basically just a place to sleep – nothing more. My (expensive and large) power bank was stolen during my stay, and I had no way to secure it because I wasn’t even given a locker. Many times, random people (not staying in the room or even in the hostel) entered my dorm to use the bathroom. It felt completely unregulated – anyone could walk in from the street, and no one was checking. The photos on the booking site are misleading. What looks like one hostel is actually a mix of different buildings. The reception and common area are directly by the street, but the actual hostel is located about 100 meters away in a different building. When I first arrived, I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi using the name and password written on the door, but it didn’t work. I walked to the reception and the guy there was rude, saying I should’ve just asked other guests for the password to the working Wi-Fi. I found that quite disrespectful – I wasn’t told the correct network when I checked in, and it’s not my job to ask random strangers about it. Overall, I never felt safe leaving my valuables there. I had to carry everything with me all the time. There are much better hostels in Canggu – do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Room was very nice; big and clean with a good balcony to sit on.

Location. Felt a bit out of the way which would be fine if in a group, but as a solo traveller it wasn’t really for me. If you have a bike, you’d be fine here no problem.

VERY BAD

The girl who was at the reception when we arrived was very kind when we complained about the dirt in the room. They offered a new room which was better but still bad.

Avoid this place. It is incredibly dirty- sheets are smelly, looks like they don’t wash them, with stains everywhere… The hot water lasts 2 minutes- plus the shower stops and you have to wait for at least 10 minutes until it comes back, while you are full of soap. There was no remote for the tv. The towels were dirty (they don’t provide them- they make you pay for them). The ac remote was not working. The entrance is full of dogs that will bark you everytime you go in. The other lady at the reception is very unpolite. We asked to store our lugagge for 1 hour and she said we should pay for it (while all the other hostels we stayed at they kindly stored it for us). Full of spiders, dirt, stains on the wall. Outdated pictures ( very!!! ) Billiards not working. Breakfast very very poor - a toast with butter and jam (butter in bad condition). The dorm smelled like pee. At the dorm we couldn’t sleep because a woman was shouting all night. I hope they update the pictures. What you see is not the reality. I know the place is cheap but you can get great places in Bali for that price. Check the reviews before booking - this was our mistake.

Really nice place. The staff is great they gave me a lot of good recommendations for motorcycles and surf also !! The room is really big and quiet ! And the location is perfect !! I ll come back

Dirty, only 1 dirty shower/ toilet in the whole 10 beds dorm, no water in the shower (need to wait 10 mins before the water goes), no common kitchen, no drinkable water, uncomfortable bed

Shower doesn't work, air con is useless, sheets are dirty, WiFi is slow, pool isn't clean, reception has street dogs being territorial and barking, rats in the kitchen, staff doesn't care, no phone at reception, constantly trying to sell you overpriced taxis/scooter rentals, location is inaccessable, non refundable

Disappointed. Unhappy. Do not stay here.

Paid for a female only dorm but was placed with males. I do not have an issue staying with mixed rooms but as a solo female traveler, feeling comfortable in your environment is very important and I certainly did not. I asked to speak to the manager but, of course, the manager was not available. Eventually, the manager came to the hostel after 45 minutes and said I could not get a refund and that the men in the room were someone’s partner (a blatant lie). I was not refunded even though I paid for a room.

The photos of this hostel were clearly taken pre covid and nothing about them match the current state of the building. My room had mould all through it and the aircon would blow more tamp air throughout the room. Would not recommend staying at this place unless its your last resort.

Very dirty rooms. Construction going on throughout the day at the hostel. Room had mould in it. Room was leaking through the wall. Bathroom was very dirty when I arrived.

Disappointing

Staff were lovely, hostel did not look like pictures in real life it was run down and very different it is however one of the cheapest places I found in canggu so I think the price reflects the venue

It is not like the photos, they do not clean enough, they did not give us towels in the 4 days, breakfast is 4 toasts and a black coffee. no milk, ugly and they charge you as if you were eating in a restaurant. the girls who serve are nice but they can't do anything about it. did not recommend coming, this site should not be on booking. booking should give me back every cent I pay to accept sites like this on their website. and so he would be talking all day about how bad this place is. I give it a 0.

The bathroom have no paper , and sometimes the water doesn't come out. No very clean. Take off the options about the breakfast included if you want to do just a couple toast.

Disastrous

Nothing. There is nothing to like about this place. Maybe location.

We arrive for 4 nights and make me pay before seeing the room (now I know why) - we left after the first night with no refund. Room pictures does not match the actual room *at all*, when complained about that they told me "pictures still uploading to booking since 2020" - a joke. The bedsheets were so dirty (brown stains etc), room smelled humidity, insects everywhere, the bathroom hadnt been clean up in ages... I feel scammed, avoid this place.

Great hostel with nice private rooms.

Great hostel in Canggu area. We had a private room in the hostel with bathroom. I was surprised how great our room was. There is a bunk area with a bar/pool in the centre of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good social scene in the bar. This would be a good spot for solo travellers to meet others.

Location was a little off the way in Canggu, but transport was easy despite this.

the facilities were not as advertised, it does not look like the pictures at all. the room and bathroom were dirty, sheets stained and pool was green. I would advise not to stay here.

Disappointing

Good location, very quiet and scenic surroundings.

The property has an issue with the plumbing/water drainage - the rooms are incredibly damp and there is mould all over the roof and the walls - the mould got on my clothes and ruined a significant amount of my property. When I asked to speak to the staff about my ruined property they weren't helpful or willing to resolve the situation fairly.

made a reservation in advance, when we arrived, it turned out that the room was occupied, they offered their other place, which is more expensive, they will rent it out at the same price. but in this place there was no toilet paper, no towels, no kettle, it is impossible to sleep at night, as the noise from the street is very well heard. deceives people by advertising a free room, and then says that the room is occupied and persistently offers his other one as if more expensive, but much worse, does not want to return even part of the money when leaving, does not inform about the no-return rule in advance, rating -100/10

Friendly place with a peaceful location and convenient food and drinks

Nice pool, fab views from the upstairs rooms, great food/bar and the wonderful Yudi who is always around to cheer everyone up and party with them

It isn’t the cleanest place I’ve stayed at, and lots of insects get into the rooms. It’s also out of the centre of Canggu, although it makes it nice and peaceful. It could have done with comfy seating around the pool.
