Enjoy the magnificent nature of a unique island. We are a certified “Swallow-Friendly House” and home to a large colony of house martins. These small, protected summer birds bring good luck to us and our guests.
PLEASE note that during the breeding season from May through the end of August, the droppings of these little mosquito hunters and master fliers may cause some inconvenience in the outdoor areas, on the windows, and on the window sills.
The Captain’s Villa is suitable for up to six adults and three infants or toddlers. In addition to the large, open-concept kitchen, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms, the house also features a large garden with a spacious barrel sauna, as well as two terraces, a beach chair, and a balcony with a sea view of the Rassower Strom and the island of Hiddensee.
The Captain’s Villa is the perfect starting point for exploring Germany’s largest and most diverse island.
For your babies or toddlers, we provide three travel cribs along with bedding for two beds, as well as two high chairs, all available for free use.
Within walking distance, you’ll find a small, idyllic natural beach.
The wood-burning stove in the “Messe” and the “Navigators Lounge” with its large panoramic windows on the upper floor make your stay a relaxing experience even during the colder months.
And if you want to really warm up after a stormy walk on the beach... then enjoy our huge sauna barrel in the garden for free.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets in our cozy beach chair.
With a delicious Störtebecker from the Stralsund Brewery or a good glass of wine in hand, enjoy the feeling of freedom as you gaze out over the vast landscape. White sails on the horizon, the flashing of navigation lights in the distance.... here, way up north, you’ll feel right at home.
Panoramic windows in the living and dining area—complete with a fireplace—offer the perfect view for watching seabirds and songbirds. Watch the flying acrobatics of the swallows nesting near the house. With a little luck, you might even spot an eagle and, of course, cranes.
The spacious property is perfect for a game of boules or Viking chess.

Wenn man das Haus betritt fühlt man sich direkt willkommen und wohl. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und durchdacht.
Vor allem ist alles vorhanden was notwendig ist, die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet.
Hier haben sich die Eigentümer wirklich Mühe gegeben.
Die Lage am Bodden ist klasse, man ist mit dem Hund direkt in der Natur unterwegs.
Sehenswürdigkeiten muss man mit dem Auto anfahren, es handelt sich hierbei aber um erreichbare Strecken dauert ca. 15-45 Minuten je nach Ziel.
Empfehlenswert die Wittower Fähre zum Strand in Julisruh. Fähre ist direkt ums Eck.
Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vor allem war auch unser Hund willkommen, es war auch für ihn alles da.

Reh, Hase und Fuchs direkt vor der Haustüre. Erholung pur in einem traumhaften Ferienhaus, welches keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig und hundefreundlich sowieso.

Ein wunderbares Haus, leider war dies nur oberflächlich sauber. Ansonsten fehlte nur die Außenjalousien.
