This three-bedroom home with views of San Juan Channel has the perfect mix of island charm and relaxing atmosphere. Close to Roche Harbor, Reuben Tarte Park, Frisbee Golf Course, and English Camp National Park; this home is the perfect place for the outdoor lover, bird watcher and hiker. (Limestone Beach Retreat).
This modern vacation home is located at Limestone Point in the northeast corner of San Juan Island. This quiet and secluded location feels a world away, yet minutes from nearby activities.
Sleep comfortably in the primary suite with a king bed, private bathroom, and incredible water views. Two additional bedrooms, each with queen beds, have orchard views. Roll-away twin cot and pack-n-play are on site. White-noise machines are provided in each of the guest bedrooms.
On the other side of the living room you will find the fully equipped chef’s kitchen with Viking Professional appliances, All-Clad cookware, and everything else you’ll need for your culinary enjoyment. This home is equipped with a standard, drip-style coffee maker and a French press. With the open layout, there is plenty of seating and counter space for everyone to be working in the kitchen, playing games in the dining room, or lounging nearby in the living room around the cozy gas fireplace. This home provides a children's booster seat as well as a highchair.
Whether you are relaxing on the large deck, lined with Adirondack chairs, or sitting in the cozy living room, you will enjoy panoramic views of San Juan Channel including Orcas and Shaw Islands with Mt. Baker in the background. San Juan Channel is a great spot for watching all kinds of vessels pass by. You may even see an occasional transient orca swim past the shoreline. Walk down the stairs to a wide, secluded, ever-changing beach. Picturesque colors during sunsets and sunrises are not to be missed. You will leave feeling refreshed from your island getaway.
Location: 10 miles from the Friday Harbor ferry terminal. Only 3 miles from Roche Harbor Resort and its amenities, makes it easy to grab groceries, fresh seafood at the dock, a cappuccino, or a meal at one of the resorts restaurants. Westcott Bay Oyster Farm, English Camp and Young Hill are nearby for historic hikes and views of the Olympic Mountains and Vancouver Island. The local disc golf course and Roche Harbor hiking/biking trails are just 1 mile away. Reuben Tarte Park is a 10-minute walk from the house, along a quiet and tree-lined neighborhood road.
