The location and views were amazing

Lots of steps and furniture and amenities needed an upgrade.

The location is great - right on the harbour. The photos on the site don't show how close it is. It is excellent value for money - much cheaper then most places. It definitiely has a sicilian 'charm' to it. Our travellers really enjoyed the stay.

I almost had a heart attack when I arrrived as there are about 5 flights of stairs to get to the first level of rooms. I have two small children (1.5 and 3.5). But it was actually fine in the end. They need to update a fix quite a few things. Also advise travellers that the one bed is a pull out bed in the kitchen (the grandmothers stayed in that one). The aircon is pretty old - and the rooms could get hot if switched off (they switch off automatically) . Especially the kids room (with a bunk bed) as it only had a fan. It is extemely noisy as it is right in the center of the harbour. I didn't find it a problem but my husband wasn't fond of the 1am singing. Lovely place if you are very aware of what you are getting yourself into.

We stopped for two days. Nice apartment. Clean and cozy. Beautiful view of the sea. Very nice owner. I immediately responded to all requests. Convenient location. Cafes and restaurants are within walking distance.

This was the first time we rented a villa and it super-seeded our expectations! Villa Liberty was fabulous, especially the owners went the extra mile to make everything work. Breakfast was great, we got to pick what we wanted from the café next to the house every morning. Everything from sweet croissants to ham and cheese sandwiches. As there are no taxis in the area we were very happy that the owners offered to drive us around (beach, supermarket, atm, etc) for a minor fee. All-in-all we loved staying in Villa Liberty but at the end it was the warmth and happiness of the owners that made our day. Will we return? Definately! M. Klofelt with family.
