The property is 80 square meters in size—spacious, quiet, comfortable, and elegant—and has been awarded 4 stars by the German tourism board. It is an excellent apartment that can comfortably accommodate up to 2 people. While it is possible to comfortably accommodate more guests, we are not certified for this purpose. The price is available upon request. The apartment features a separate entrance, a living room (30 square meters) with satellite TV and a stereo system, a double bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area; it also includes a bathroom with a shower and toilet. In addition, a storage room is available for use, as well as a covered terrace, a lawn area, a barbecue area, and a parking space on the property. Further details are available upon request. The apartment’s location is a great starting point for excursions. Bicycles are provided free of charge. Bedding and towels are included in the price. A shared washing machine is available, as well as breakfast, fresh bread, a grocery shopping service, housekeeping during your stay, and a shuttle service for arrival and departure.

The tourist community of Tholey, with approximately 13,100 residents, is part of the Saar-Hunsrück region, which is characterized by its unspoiled landscape. The 2.8-km-long, barrier-free “Herzweg” trail, which leads 500 m up to the Schaumberg, is just one example.

The town of Tholey, seat of the municipal administration, was first mentioned in a document in the year 634 AD. Since then, life in the town and the entire Schaumberg region has been shaped primarily by the Benedictine Abbey of St. Maurice. There is evidence suggesting that this is the oldest monastery on German soil. The Schaumberg Adventure Park is one of the most modern and eco-friendly leisure, health, and water parks in the region. Its attractions include a 103-meter-long slide tunnel with music and light effects, a lagoon area with a lazy river and a well-tempered mother-and-child pool, a year-round heated outdoor pool, a solarium, a steam room, a large sauna, and a restaurant. The villages of Sotzweiler and Bergweiler are situated on the western slope of the Schaumberg mountain. Bergweiler is sure to score points in the national contest “Our Village Is Beautiful”—a contest that highlights charming little villages from all over.

St. Wendel boasts a diverse mountainous landscape with a striking alternation of forested hills and open farmland, and is located in the Saar-Hunsrück region. It is nestled next to Lake Bostal, the largest recreational lake in southwestern Germany.
