Saltwood Blairgowrie

We booked a very last minute trip over Easter. This place looked great in the pics, but unfortunately was a 7 night minimum, which we didn't want. We did book as didn't have many other accommodation options. But just ended up staying for 6 nights (and paying for 7). The linen was an additional cost on top, and we spent many phone calls to the linen company to organise the appropriate linen. Unfortunately when we arrived, they only provided sheets, and the property had no doona covers provided. Given we had clean sheets, this wasn't too much of a problem, however I feel for the cleanliness of future guests, not having a doona cover that could be washed between stays was not ideal. The house itself is set very high up. While this was fine for our family, I think it definitely needs to be mentioned in the property description that there are alot of steep steps, as frail elderly people or disabled people would have alot of trouble accessing the house. In saying all this, it was a very nicely renovated space, bright and clean. Beachy decor. Two decks that were lovely to sit out on. Very nice, modern kitchen & bathroom. Comfy sofas too, which often rental places don't have. Short 5 min drive to beaches and shops. We mostly made use of the Sorrento shopping/eatery strip.
