A good place to stay and at a good spot.

Really close to the bangniang market. The place is overally ok, not something extraordinary but still nice. The doorms were clean and we even had a little terrace to smoke.

Even if the lady at the reception was really nice, she didn't speak a word of english, which can be a bit challenging.

Nice stay with great staff

Lovely and really helpful staff, they also offer motorbike rental at a reasonable rate and the location is really good, easily walkable to shops, bars and the beach.

Could do with curtains around the bunks on all the beds, and (nit picky) have smaller gaps between the beds and the walls, a bit of a pain on the top bunks.

For the price it's a good hostel if you want to spend most of the day outside

It's ok for the price, just a bit cheap interior overall. Nothing to put your stuff when you are in bed, also the bathroom is minimalist, the common area very basic, but ok, the price is also pretty low, so it's ok for that. The beds were a bit harder, which I actually like, so for me that was good. The bed drawers/lockers were kind of hard to pull out.

The gentleman who runs the hostel is lovely. It is just him so sometimes you might need to wait for him for a hour but he will come back and help the best he can.

Heaven in Khao Lak

Lovely, friendly hostel

Well presented and friendly staff, room cleaned daily with replenishment of bathroom items and my sheets were changed during my 5 night stay. My arrival was expected and I was greeted at the door. Check in and check out were both very smooth. Water and coffee available at all hours at no extra cost. 1km away from two beach options, a third about 1.5km away and easily walkable. Shop and cafes nearby too.

Mattresses are very firm! But for the brief stay and the proximity of beaches I definitely didn't go without sleep.

Comfortable bed. Dorm was clean and well laid out. Large lockers available under the bed. Access to a balcony to dry clothes. Staff are absolutely fantastic and go out of their way to help you.

Enjoyed my stay!

It was clean and well located next to the night market. It's a pretty small hostel but I met a good group so found it pretty social. Free drinking water was a plus as well! Lots of hanging space on the balcony too.

The beds are very hard but this seems to be fairly common in Thailand! Also there's only 1 or 2 outlets and they're not by the beds so not ideal for charging.

in the 6pax dorm there was only 2 electric outlets inside the room and 2 outside and that was definitely not enought if everyone in the room wants to charge their phone, powerbanks, laptops etc.. and it’s a bit risky to leave your phone outside the room for the night. also curtains would be a nice add since the dorm is full all the time :)

Very good

Great location, nice and clean and the guy at the front desk is really helpful. I found lots to do in Khao lak so extended my stay here twice! This is a small hostel with only one dorm room but I enjoyed that. Each guest gets a large locker draw that fits most belongings and only those with a key can enter the building, so very secure.

Note that there are limited power plugs in the dorm room. I was lucky to get a bed with 2 plugs, but there is only one other plug in the room, there are more in the corridor and down in rhe common area. The bathroom is in the dorm room which is convenient but disruptive for other guests. The beds are quite firm.

Perfect stay

THEPPAHRAK HOSTEL is a perfect for backpackers Mixed dorm room is super modern & clean with bathroom together.The owner (Khun Ball) also provides full information of Khaolak area.They provide coffee,Ovaltin,snacks banana,refrigerator,microwave oven.TV can be seen at downstair Location : It is close to Tsunimi museum,easy to find.WiFi is so strong.

Best place in Khao Lak

The hostel is more or less completely new and so are the rooms, especially the bathroom. Everything was very clean and staff was friendly. When I got sick everyone did was possible and even went to the pharmacy for me as I couldn't do it myself. thank you so much, we can highly recommend this place!

There is not much negative to say. It's close to the main road so you can still hear it but it's not as loud although the party scene here is really vivid.

Probably the best place in the area

The room was very clean and they change the sheets every day. It's a great location with the local night market right on the other side of the street.

2 nights we had a person in the 6bed dorm who snored so loud that you could here it in Phuket Old Town. 5 other people were awake the whole night and it was absolutely ridiculous. The other nights we finally got some sleep when he moved out so we are fine and yes we could hear him throug our earplugs.

Great little hostel in the most convenient area of Khaolak

Great location about 10 steps to Tsunami Museum. 1 Minute to Bang Niang market, all shops and 7 eleven close by. Its a brand new hostel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Small cleaned and cosy place to stay. All snacks and coffee provided. Love it! I will definitely come back.

L’emplacement est top, la chambre est petite mais pour seulement 4 personnes c’est suffisant. La salle de bain est parfaite et propre. Le personnel est très gentil.

On entend la musique jusqu’à minuit tous les soirs et il n’y a pas de rideaux aux lits.

Très bon emplacement, parfait pour plusieurs jours

Emplacement idéal : en face du Bang Niang Market, du 7-Eleven (le bus local s’y arrête donc parfait si vous souhaitez le prendre), du passage piéton, à 10/15 mns à pied de la plage, près de nombreux restos, magasins, salons de massage, salons de tatouage, du stadium où il y a des matchs de boxe thaï. SDB dans la chambre Serviette de bain, shampooing, gel douche à dispo Fontaine d’eau (chaude et froide), café/thé, gâteaux, bananes à dispo Personnel accueillant et très sympa Bien que reculé par rapport à la route, on entend quand même donc juste prévoir des bouchons d’oreille et ça le fait + prévoir masque de nuit pour ceux qui peuvent craindre la lueur du jour.

Matelas dur mais comme partout en Thaïlande
