Staff were very polite and friendly. They gave us some pointers about the city and booked us a taxi to the airport since ubers were not allowed near the airport. The location of the hotel is also very convenient since we were able to walk everywhere. Breakfast was simple but sufficient ahead of a long day of exploring.
Once we entered the room, we noticed a lot of small ants along the wall. It didn’t bother us much since they were away from the beds and we were only staying for 2 nights. What did bother us was the huge cockroach we found in the shower. It must have come from underneath the toilet, which wasn’t entirely sealed to the ground. Also, the walls separating the rooms were paper thin so we heard EVERYTHING happening in the room next to us and in the hallway, which wasn’t pleasant if you’ve had a long day travelling and were trying to get some sleep.
