About this house rental

30 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 6.2km, pond Törikänlampi 50 m, Lake Viipusjärvi 130 m, public, deep sandy beach.

Cottage, built in 1990, in a pine stand between Lake Viipusjärvi and Törikänlampi pond.
Bedroom 1: double bed, bedroom 2: two beds, living room: convertible sofa for two, open fireplace, combined kitchen/living room, electric sauna. The sauna and washroom were renovated in late 2024 (the current photos were taken before the renovation).

Cottage near to Oulanka national park
We spent two nights in Ruka, Kuusamo. This cottage is very basic Finnish cottage from 1990's. It has a good location for tourist who are looking for affordable and quiet accommodation for holiday with lot of outdoor activities in Oulanka national park. The cottage was very clean, but kitchen cabinets, bathroom and especially floors are old and need to be renovated soon. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There is no washing machine, which would be a nice extra for longer stays.
