A basic but clean chalet at a reasonable cost. The facilities were fairly limited but absolutely fine for our needs. The location is good (1 mile from the centre of Scalloway) and the views from out chalet superb. The value for money of our stay was very good.
The chalets are fairly small and basic but contain everything required.

Location and view was perfect. Chalet was clean and comfortable. Chalet was unlocked with key inside so no need to find owner.
Had reason to contact owner as bulb not working in toilet, no problem as replaced the next day.
Kitchen small but adequate with pots and pans although we didn't use,
Laundry on site but machines all had clothes in although wash cycles finished we removed clothes and put into washing basket so we could use, maybe there could be a notice asking people to collect washing so others can use.
The WIFI did not work and although we reported it, we thought nothing had been done, only to find an email from the owner saying that we could move into another chalet once we had got aboard the ship home 5 days later, and were able to get WiFi!!!

Location
Single bed against wall was too short for anyone over 6ft tall.
No hooks in shower room, or bedrooms for clothing or wet towels.
You couldn’t walk around the double bed easily and heater was too close to the bed.
The bedding smelt mouldy, including the duvet and pillows.
