Lovely location, warm and comfortable.
It would have been nice to have an open fire or log burner and a dishwasher. The lighting in the sitting room was a bit too low for reading. The eating area in the kitchen was a bit cramped.

Beds and bedding very comfy
Some of the decor is dated but that didn’t bother us. Looks like it’s being smartened up in stages. Important things were very good.

Cosy clean and warm cottage - good base to explore Shetland and good value

Ideal location, not far from family and to explore from. 5 mins from Scalloway, 10 mins from Lerwick.
Cosy cottage that is like home from home, there is everything you need, host was lovely, great WiFi, good heating system... Everything you could need for your stay.
Also, visiting sheep come into the garden which gave us a lot of laughs.
Doggy friendly, our girl loved her adventure.
