About this country house rental
In the heart of the Périgord Noir, a stone's throw from Lascaux, in a small village crisscrossed by hiking trails, our property "Le Jardin d'Eden" is made up of 6 charming gîtes for 2 to 8 people (maximum capacity of 23 people) .
L'Oustal occupies part of a beautiful 16th century Périgourdine mansion.
It is the perfect lodging for lovers of authentic and atypical accommodation. It offers our guests all the charm of old Périgourdine houses with its stone walls over a meter wide and its exposed oak beams ...
L'Oustal has a kitchen / living room, 2 large bedrooms, a sun-drenched veranda in the afternoon and a beautiful, fully renovated bathroom.
It is also very popular in summer, its very thick stone walls (more than a meter wide), retain a pleasant freshness making it easier to withstand hot weather (natural air conditioning ...)!
Ideal for a couple with children, it overlooks the park and the swimming pool on one side and a small courtyard on the church side (the bells ring twice a day at 12 noon and 7 p.m.).
You have access to the heated swimming pool from 26 ° C to 29 ° C (from mid-April to the end of September, depending on the weather) and to the landscaped park with games for young and old!
Ideally located for exploring the Dordogne, all the main sites are a few minutes from our lodgings (Vézère and Dordogne valley, Lascaux IV caves a few minutes, Montignac, Sarlat…).

The property had the advantage of a lovely pool (shared with other guests) which was fantastic as temperatures exceeded 35 degrees while we were there.
The cottage was in a lovely quiet village and we purchased a lot of local produce from the Co-op cabin situated in the village square - well worth a visit.
The property was ideally located to visit many lovely areas of the Dordogne such as Montignac, Sarlat, Domme and many others.

Un grand merci à Magali et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux et la découverte de leur petit coin de paradis ou l'on s'est retrouvé en famille et avons pu profiter de la piscine et du jacuzzi. Savoureux moment de détente, que du bonheur!

Wir waren mit 4 Personen (2 Erwachsenen, 2 Kindern) in Valojoulx und haben das Ferienhaus L`Oustal bewohnt. Es ist mit allem was notwendig ist, ausgestattet. Besonders vorheben möchte ich, dass eine Waschmaschine und Möglichkeiten zum Trocknen und Bügeln der Wäsche vorhanden sind, was ich eher selten von Ferienwohnungen kenne. Es gibt einen riesigen Garten mit genug Schattenplätzen bei heißem Wetter, Spielgeräte für groß und klein und einen sauberen kindersicheren Pool. Die Vermieterin und ihre Familie sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und Valojoulx ist ein super Ausgangspunkt, um die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Perigord Noir zu besuchen. Wenn ich gefragt werde, was noch zu verbessern ginge, würde ich sagen: Vielleicht nochmal ein oder zwei neuere Töpfe/ Pfanne oder Kleinigkeiten für die Küche aber sonst alles in allem.... ein gelungener Urlaub.
