About this apartment rental
In a quiet country house in the village Lomo Roman in Puerto de la Cruz: Romantic apartment with sea views and mountain views on the cliff above the sea and right on the small lake on the approximately 4. 500 square meters flowered finca. With natural stone pool and sunbathing area in the sun. Fitness room on a covered terrace. Barbecue area under trees. Living / dining room, kitchen, large bathroom with shower, large terraces with sun loungers overlooking the sea or the mountains, the lake, the finca and the flower paradise. The terraces are open from east to southwest. And in front of the terraces is still a palm garden of 140 sqm. Dozens of German-language TV programs via SAT. Radio stereo. WLAN for your laptop, smartphone, etc. Floor lamp. Light dimmer. Dining corner: Table with very comfortable chairs, in front of the fully-open panoramic doors to the terrace, so you can sit in the garden while eating. Terrace: table with very comfortable chairs. The entrance to the finca is almost at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on the rock above the sea. On one side, the approximately 4. 500 sqm large finca borders on a small nature reserve, a part of the finca even belongs to this nature reserve.
Several benches at various points of the finca invite you to linger, relax and enjoy.
Naturally, the swimming pool can not be missing on the Finca Tenerife-Romantica. It was built of real natural stones, and although it is naturally in the sun, it is totally surrounded by nature. From the pool you have a great view over the finca while swimming. - The pool and adjacent sun terrace is accessed via a romantic bridge over a pond filled with aquatic plants and fish.
And our fitness room is located in its own covered natural stone terrace, whose front glass doors front you can close as needed or push completely aside. Here you will also find relaxation and pure relaxation.
A small barbecue area with bench and table under trees with an attractive brick barbecue and deduction bell completes the recreational offer.
Note: As we do not want to completely fence our beautiful natural stone pool for aesthetic reasons, no small children are allowed to live with us for legal reasons.
Apart from flowers and ornamental shrubs, bananas, avocados, mangos and almonds thrive on the estate. And the beautiful red-orange flowering African tulip tree and the beautiful blue-flowering Jacaranda as well as the beautiful red panicles flowering Schefflera are to call.
There is also one of Tenerife's landmarks on the finca: several dragos (dragon trees). And our elephant foot is the largest and most beautiful of its kind we have ever seen. The shrubs we have to mention are the beautiful oleanders (Spanish: Adelfas) and the sun-nights (and their nights) incredibly intense and bewitching 'Galan de Noche' (Galan of the Night). Not forgetting the charming Strelitzia. And from late autumn to spring, the Christmas stars with their lavish, powerful red are spreading throughout the finca. On the finca we also have a small cactus collection. Particularly noteworthy here is the 'Queen of the Night'. Each bloom blooms only a single night with a beautiful yellow-orange calyx, which measures up to 15 cm in diameter, and exudes an extremely strong beguiling scent of vanilla. And this splendor of nature is complemented by hundreds of colorful flowers.
Other Activities: Fishing, swimming, archery, mountain walking, botany, nudist beach, paragliding, golf, caves, horse riding, swimming, beach, diving, tennis, theme park, volcano, water park, zoo.

The apartment has a washing machine, iron, ironing board, drying rack and a vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies, cleaning products, etc. for your use, if you want it.
Ample linen and towels and beach towels, and a cool bag and a shopping trolley are available to you and are included in the rental price.

La casa si trova in un posto molto tranquillo all’interno di una proprietà dove c’è il parcheggio privato. La casa è dotata di tutto, la cucina e perfettamente attrezzata. L’host è presente ma discreto, disponibile per ogni necessità. È necessario avere l’auto poiché non si trova in un paese. Un simpatico welcome kit presente in casa fa iniziare bene la vacanza!

Ich war mit meinen Kindern (10 und 14) zwei Wochen hier.
Die Ferienwohnung hat einen direkten Zugang zu einen schönen Garten. Knappe 50 Meter weiter ist der Pool (Tiefe ca. 1,80), den die Kinder liebten.
Achtung: Ich würde einen Mietwagen empfehlen, da alle Attraktionen dann deutlich besser erreichbar sind.
Der Strand ist zu Fuß über einen schwierigen Bergpfad 1,7 km und 200 Höhenmeter entfernt oder man nutzt alternativ das Auto.
Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir haben die Schönheit des Gartens und die Ruhe dort sehr genossen.

The Finca Romantica is a truly wonderful, awe-inspiring and special retreat. What will await you are beautiful views, an amazingly landscaped terraced garden, relaxing tranquility and sheer indulgence. Eddie and Lucie made us very welcome even though we had experienced a 7-hour delay from Gatwick on Christmas Eve 2013 arriving after midnight on account of .. the usual rainfalls, flooding and breakdown of essential services. Not only did they give us a hearty welcome but they put several thoughtful gifts in our apartment Strelitzia, from wine, fresh fruit, chocolate and other nibbles to all the necessities for the first few days and a very nice touch after a long day of travel. On New Years Eve we received more chocolate and a wonderful bottle of fizzy. There are many inspiring walks to be had in and around the Finca, including a coastal hike right at the doorstep. The whole area is replete with villas and the lush, colourful landscape (in December that is!) is both inviting and visually appealing so that the landscaped garden blends in perfectly well with the surrounding area. The facilities are second to none at the finca, from washing machine to a small gym and an inifinity pool overlooking a hill and the edge of the rocky coastline. The well-thought out landscaped terraced garden is by itself an attraction to behold in addition, for example on account of the water features, the cactii and apportioned symmetry to being the setting for a pleasing, calming and refreshing start to the day, every day. There are direct seaviews to enjoy and I can only say that of all the places we have stayed in and out of Europe, the Finca Romantica is truly one of a kind. I cannot recommend it more highly - so much so that friends whom we raved about the place were eager to book it for themselves. As a matter of practicality: if you do not like walking, I recommend you hire a car - the nearest bus stop/supermarket/restaurants are a c. 8-10 minute steep uphill walk (which neither of us had any qualms with). There are connections to P.de la Cruz and elsewhere. When it comes to exploring the near area, there are so many places of interest, activities, scenic views, climbs, walks and ocean perspectives that you are likely to be enthralled all the way and at every turn.
