Breakfast was purchased at adjoining bakery. Adequate Bulgarian fare (and free cappuccino coffee, kindly supplied by our host from his street-side vending machine).
As an elderly couple, I think breakfast in a local cafe might have been better for us. The bakery option is likely to more than satisfy younger clients, especially more price conscious travelers (such as hungry back-packers!). That said, we didn't leave hungry, our host was most helpful, and the apartment's self-catering facilities were very good.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a car so the location wasn't really relevant as we stayed here and drove to Borovets to ski each morning. It was only about 10 - 15 minute drive to Borovets so this is a good value alternative to staying in Borovets if you have a car. The shared kitchen and facilities were good. Free parking on the street outside the hotel.
Our room was mountain facing which is also street facing and the street lighting is very bright at night. The curtains do not block out the light and it was a bit too bright for us. The shower wets the whole bathroom floor as it's not a separate shower basin, the whole bathroom is basically the shower with a drain in the middle. Not a major issue, just something to note. I would stay here again. Black out curtains would be nice.
