Popa cottage is a spacious, modern, three-bedroom holiday home at Harlyn Bay, Cornwall, just a short, two-minute walk to one of Britain’s most beautiful sandy beaches, perfect for surfing, long walks and picnics and close to idyllic Padstow. No need to get the car out to go to the beach! Dogs are welcome in the cottage and on the beach!
Located at ‘Polmark Beach Cottages’ a small complex of accommodation surrounded by stunning rural scenery, Popa provides a tranquil and cosy base to relax after a day at the beach. Perfect for families or small groups of friends, the cottage comprises open plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen and three bedrooms, including a master en-suite.
Derek and Steph have recently acquired this cottage and whilst it is an ideal holiday home they plan to continue a programme of home improvements to make the cottage even better. A new kitchen and family bathroom have been installed and the patio area has been decked with a comfy rattan-styled corner suite added. The cottage has everything you might need and is close to some super eateries. (Cornish Arms, The Pig Hotel and Duchy Grub!).

The house exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, clean, well decorated, well equipped and dog-friendly. The location was great, within a few hundred metres of the beautiful sandy Harlyn Bay and the coastal path. The Harlyn taproom is just round the corner for food and drinks, with fish and chips and a small grocery store nearby in St Merryn. We also enjoyed eating at The Cornish Arms near St Merryn.

We had a fantastic stay over Easter and couldn’t have asked for a better holiday home. The property is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the beach, which made it perfect for relaxing days by the sea.Inside, everything was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. It really felt like a home away from home.Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free, and communication with the host was clear and straightforward throughout.All in all, we had an amazing holiday experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
