Ekas Surf Resort & Surf Camp

Lovely little surf resort with restaurant, shop, board hire and pool. Its a walk down to the beach which is a bit on an unknown at first but you soon get used to it, its not really that far. Depending on the tide and surf there are reef breaks and sandy beach breaks. On the beach there are a few shacks selling cold drinks, snacks and noodles. The food in the resort is really great and reasonably priced. Breakfast is included and my favourite on Lombok. There are a few other places nearby if you want a change for food. The family room came with a private courtyard which was a bonus, the room was spacious with plenty of hot water. They can organise trips too, such as the snorkling which was well worth doing.

The double bed creaked and the toilet door is impossible to open/close quietly, so in a family room if anyone needs to use the toilet in the night it wakes everyone up. Minor I know but worth noting. Watch out for the transfer prices, worth shopping around as they're expensive.

This place is basically the centre of Ekas. It's a lovely little resort with an impressive restaurant. It's a very professionally run operation being owned and managed by South Africans. We had the family room with bunk beds and it was cool and lovely. The pool was really lovely and the restaurant has a real village feel with people eating, and hanging. I would highly recommend it.

Best place to stay in Ekas, this accomodation greatly improved our experience. Amazing restaurant, beautiful pool, and a great vibe.

Property was secure and very well maintained. The pool area was lovely and a great place to hang out and meet other guests. Eskander does a fantastic job and is totally attentive to all the guests.

Construction happening behind the property was a bit annoying, but no fault of the resort.
