The breakfast was great. The hosts made a cup of coffee for me and allowed me to leave my luggage as I went sightseeing.

The hotel is situated in a lovely old building full of character in the University and Museum/Gallery district of Munich, about a 20-25 minute walk from the city centre and very close to the English Garden. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, especially Tanja, allowing me to leave my bags in the hotel on the day I checked out until late in the evening (as I was catching a night train to Brussels). The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent.

I was hesitant about the shared toilets and showers but as other guests have remarked they are really clean and I never had to wait to use them. The location was really good for me (work at the university), but also in general - easy walk to the English Garden and the centre of Munich. Breakfast was outstanding: Tanja's homemade jam was excellent. I could not recommend this place more highly.
Nothing, but guests should know that the hotel is over three floors (3rd-5th) and that although there is a lift, there are steps up to it, so take this into account when you book.
