The house is on an elevated section with multiple levels and decks providing both indoor and outdoor living. The house has been constructed to a high standard with western red cedar cladding,, fully insulated with double glazed windows and doors, concrete drive and two car garaging.

Sea conditions can vary from calm to dangerous with up to 4m swells crashing in from the Tasman Sea creating treacherous rips along the ironsand beach.
