Clear instructions for check-in. Large room. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but has its own charm. Above average for an Italian hotel.
There is Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work. There is mold in some places, which is a problem in most apartments in Italy.
There is a Q8 gas station 200 meters away, but avoid it, as the attendant sees foreign license plates and charges a higher price, even though he doesn't help with the refueling process.

A very nice place to stay, the rooms are really nice. Parking was good. I had the pleasure of using the outdoor swimming pool and sunbeds. Very enjoyable.
A working fridge would have been nice.

Conveniently located between Lucca and the Garfagnana, easy to reach (car warmly suggested), good for people that wants to go for hikes in the region as well for those that just want to rest by the pool. Great Italian breakfast!
No sound insulation, you hear everything that happens in the other rooms. The water in the swimming pool feels overfilled with chemicals
