About this house rental
Goughs Bay is the central Recreation Hub of Lake Eildon and in the foothills of the Victorian Snow fields catering for all recreation activities year round.
Better Serenity than Bonnie Doon!
Just undertaken a full renovation with all new furnishings and mid cons.
Off street and boat / trailer parking, two minutes to the main boat ramp and a short 25 minute drive to the base of Mt Buller. Mansfield is only a 15-minute drive for everything you need.
Unlimited Internet and Wifi, Apple TV, open plan kitchen, electric oven and gas cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and coffee machine. Outside you will find a fire pit to sit around and enjoy a nice glass of wine. Please note we no longer supply firewood. Bags of wood can be purchased from Mansfield Garden Supplies on the Mt Buller rd.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for us, it was nice and peaceful.
Property was big enough for four of us, we could all be together but also have our own space if we wanted to.
Kitchen was nice and had good supply of dishes and cutlery.
One disappointment was, that we were not able to use the fireplace inside, and we were looking forward to it. On the actual listing it says fire place/ wood heater but you need to supply your own wood. Which was fine for us. But once we made the full payment we received an email from Tim with long list of house rules and first thing on the list is PLEASE DO NOT USE INTERNAL FIREPLACE IT'S DECOMMISIONED. One of the reasons we choose this property was the fireplace. So you can imagine our disappointment.
I suggest that fire place as a heater should be removed from the listening so it does not cause a confusion.
There is a split system for heating so don't worry you won't be cold.
Tim was easy to communicate with.
We would recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay during the summer holidays very much. The property is in a very convenient as well as pretty and quite location (nice neighbours). A short stroll to the lake and the shop. The inside of the house is neat, clean and comfortable, just as the pictures show. A big plus was, that the driveway had enough room for our boat! So overall we would love to come back. Thank you Tim and thank you for being a great communicator :-)

What a fantastic two weeks our family has had in this gorgeous property in Goughs Bay. Right from the very first contact Tim was extremely accommodating and really took our families needs into consideration. On arrival we were more than excited with our home away from home. Beautifully appointed home that is modern, elegant and spotless. Tim's communication was exceptional from giving us information in relation to the house, information in relation to the town of Goughs Bay and surrounds and kept us updated with local activities. Thank you for a wonderful stay, it was very hard to leave .... Diesel (our dog) is already missing the wonderful country life he got to enjoy while away. Hoping we are lucky enough to stay with you again sometime. Nicki, Andrew and the girls.
