Relax in the spa with views opposite Lake Eildon

Perfect location, quiet, relaxing, host was accomodating for an early check in and even had spa turned on, heated ready for our arrival

The location was great, the beds were comfortable and the home was clean and tidy

The toilet bowl was leaking on the floor, there was only 2 towels left for 3 guests and we had to go buy our own. The tap on the shower kept falling off, and the shower was either scolding hot or ice cold.. may have had something to do with the washing machine running though. At the front steps there is slippery moss on a steep embankment and 2 if.us ended up on our bottoms from this. Also when you go out the front door, you have to try keep it open because the door shuts and locks you out.

The property was in a great location with a nice spa.

The dishwasher had dishes from the previous holiday maker and we had to clean the filter and rinse it before use as it stunk. Furthermore, wifi was advertised but password wasn’t provided. We needed this for a business but the host didn’t bother to respond.

Responsive to the issues we had.

Unfortunately we booked this place for the spa and unlucky for us it wasn’t heating at all. We booked 3 nights and got one hour in a lukewarm warm spa because the rest of the time it was ice cold. The owner did send out help in the way of the cleaners unfortunately they didn’t fix the issue. They also showed up unannounced at numerous times morning day and night which was uncomfortable as we sat in our pjs. Upon arrival the tv was smashed but they did end up replacing it with a smaller one. When leaving and tidying we found black mould on the bottom of the curtains in the kids room. Outside none of the fairy lights worked. The backyard was inaccessible due to the back door being locked and the side gate being jammed with a nail on the bottom to stub yourself on.
