About this cottage rental
Five generations of our family have made this gorgeous piece of lakefront property our oasis, our slice of heaven. We have seen many changes and have made significant improvements over the years from the original tiny trailer to the now beautiful home with lots of amenities that will make any family feel right at home.
Our home includes 3 BRs, 2 full Baths, a totally remodeled (2013) kitchen, LR with cable TV and DVD player, a family room with a dining area that looks out over the beach and lake, fold out futon for additional sleeping space and another cable TV with DVD player. A one-car garage includes a 2nd refrigerator and gas grill. The yard (lakeside) includes a patio, picnic tables and a glider under a huge old maple.
The piece de’ resistance is the massive expanse of a beautiful sandy beach with a walkway down to the crystal clear Missaukee Lake. There is a volleyball net available. There is a fire pit in the sand ready for those bon fires to roast hot dogs and marshmallows or just relax with a glass of wine and count the stars. You will be a witness to the most incredible sunsets that will take your breath away and leave you relaxed and content and ready for the best night’s sleep that prepares you for the next exciting day!
