Spacious house with beautiful views of Lake Möckeln and individual location. Beachfront property.

We stayed 2 wonderful weeks in this homely house. Enough rooms for our 2 kids to choose. We all enjoyed the lake nearly every day swimming (even in the rain) and canoeing. Its very comfortable to have it all right in front of the doorstep. The place is perfect to enjoy the peaceful nature and leave the stress behind. Cecilia is very nice and helpfull, thanks a lot. If we would have a chance we would definetely come back again.

The listing description and photos are very accurate but the beautiful, peaceful outlook can only really be appreciated once you are there. The house is right on the lake, with its own little bay, and the use of rowing boat and canoe meant we could explore the little islands on the huge lake. It is surrounded by the forest and we saw wild elk in the field behind. The area is great for walking - lots of nature trails and the right to roam, of course. Take walking boots. The property is clean and well maintained, with good equipment in the kitchen and a very spacious lounge/dining area, where you have lovely views over the lake. There are good supermarkets in Almhult, close by, by car, which are open every day. There are some restaurants in Almhult, but nothing special, but with views like this, we mostly self-catered. Attractions in the area include the Ikea Museum, which was fascinating, and the glass-making area. Cecilia was very helpful and responsive, as was her neighbour Elisabet. Just be aware that you need to clean the house yourself when you leave - there is no cleaning service.

We are a couple from Switzerland and rented the house in Juni 2015. We hade a nearly identical great stay here, as Edgar D. describes above in german Although not too far away from the little town nearby, the place feels very secluded, you are alone in your private little bay, with a small island reachable via rocks. The house is equipped with all you might need, and feels very comfortable. From the Table in the living room you can see to the lake, you get a lot of sun and great sunsets. The contact with Mrs Ehnborg was very pleasant and helpful. besides the rowing boat, there is also a canoe, that we used to explore the lake. During our stay it had quite some wind - that doesn't disturb at the protected bay the house is at, but can be rough out there withe the boats. it was our 3rd house rented in Sweden, we certainly would recommend it and come back again.
