We were here on new year's eve, so heating was running. You need to turn off the heating every night as otherwise it's too loud to sleep.

I liked everything. We even had a missing key situation at midnight. Even though the reception is closing at 19,00 we were given the key with a smile.

The location was great, the breakfast was superb and the apartment was perfect for what we needed. Very good car parking at the property as well.

I really enjoyed the place. I stayed with my family in a ground-floor apartment, which was spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was nice, and the hospitality was excellent – the staff contacted us before our arrival, offering assistance and providing useful information. The pool is wonderful, the outdoor area is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything felt very well cared for, and overall, the apartment was an excellent choice for us.

The apartment was very clean at first, but after a few hours we noticed mold in the room and bathroom. The smell affected our comfort, and we had to ventilate frequently. We even considered changing rooms, but as our stay was short, we decided to remain in the apartment. As this can impact health, it should be fixed as soon as possible. It’s a pity, because the mold was the only downside.

All was wonderful! from the check-in passing by the staying and ending by the check-out.

Wonderful place, great location, 5-10 minutes drive to the center of Pistoia, which is a very nice place. It takes only 30 minutes by train to get from Pistoia to Florence by train. The Torreghiota place males you feel like landing in an oasis: surrounded by a beautiful garden, and amazing swimming pool, very nice rooms and very friendly staff.

Everything was perfect, The only minor thing is the fact that getting anywhere from the hotel by using public transports is a bit difficult since the closest bus stop is located more than 1,5 kms away.

So beautiful!

Our stay was amazing from the very beginning! We arrived earlier than the check-in time because we wanted to leave our luggage at reception and explore the area a bit. Later that night, when we finally got to our room, we were so surprised to find our luggage already waiting for us in the room, we hadn’t even asked! We were already mentally preparing ourselves to carry everything up, so that thoughtful gesture was a lovely surprise. We traveled with our dog, Bella, and she was warmly welcomed too! At the entrance of the room, there was a little welcome box just for her, with a toy, pet pads, and poop bags, it was adorable! There was even a welcome message on the door that included her name, which was such a sweet touch. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety of sweet and savory options. The building itself was beautiful, both inside and out, and the room had this charming antique decor that made us feel like we were in a movie. In the bathroom, they provided shampoo, soap, and body cream, all of which seemed to be locally made and had the most amazing scent. It really added to the experience! They also recommended a local delivery app, which turned out to be super useful! We were able to order food straight to the room and even get some medicine delivered from a nearby pharmacy, such a convenient tip that made our stay even more comfortable. We didn’t get the chance to use the pool, but we could see it from our room, and it looked amazing! Shoutout to Fabia, she was an amazing help on everything!

The only small detail we noticed was that the air conditioning wasn’t very strong. However, it honestly didn’t affect our experience at all, everything else was so excellent that it truly didn’t matter.

Beautiful property but need a car

Pros: - Staff were amazing! Especially Flávia. They were all so helpful. - Beautiful pool and garden - Room was beautiful, clean, well equipped. And had daily room cleaning - Breakfast every morning was our highlight! The food is incredible

Cons: - this is definitely a place to stay at if you have a car. It’s an hour walk into town if not. We didn’t have a car which meant we had to call a Taxi every time to go into town so I’d only recommend for people with a car. - bad wifi in rooms

Everything was perfect! The surroundings, location, pool, staff, room and breakfast! The place was quiet and peaceful which we liked. :-)

Take repellent with you. Mosquitoes are very active and annoying here (this is not the fault of the hotel).

A lovely Villa in a pure Tuscan location with a nice pool, friendly staff

A simple Tuscan style apartment in a complex which was a converted Tuscan villa/Farm house which for us was just a one night stopover on our way home. Had everything you need. Beds best we slept on in Italy some cool period features. Lovely location & Farmhouse 100% Tuscany vibes. Friendly helpful staff. Pool great as it was a super hot day & here in summer you definitely need a pool. There is a fantastic local Restorante il Frantoio on Via Di Scaibolino superb tell you are from the property & you get a 10% discount. A lovely tasty varied breakfast offered with Gluten Free options, just right for kicking off our journey home.

The living room furniture in the apartment, particularly the wicker sofa, isn’t very comfortable. The pool has strict entry rules, including wearing bathing hats and having no warts, health issues, or medication use. However, it seems most people didn’t adhere to these rules, as no one was seen wearing swimming hats today.

Great friendly and helpful staff, nice surroundings, wonderful poolarea, great breakfast, nice location between Lucca and Florence. Close to the citycenter of Pistoia by bicycle. We had a fanstastic stay for 3 nights.

An excellent location and establishment. Beautiful and well maintained garden and swimming pool. Combined with the politeness of the staff and that of the owner leaves the guests with the best memories. I would certainly return at the first occasion.

Do not book or accept Salvia apartment, until it and it’s access path are cleaned and maintained.

The property looked nice on the whole from a distance.

Our split level apartment was a huge disappointment. Was filled with mosquitoes and spiders. We did not sleep the first night , up all night killing insects. The staff helped the next day with some repellent that helped with the insects, but created unpleasant chemical odors. Our section of apartments was built into a dark and dank hillside. The access path was dirty and badly in need of sweeping and maintenance. A breeding ground for bugs. The apartment had an unusual layout , maybe ok for school age children, but not safe for toddlers. The apartment needed a good deep cleaning. Kitchen was not clean and everything we tried to use felt greasy. A wet wash rag was left in the downstairs bathroom , which was too dirty to use. Tile floors thru out the apartment needed a good mopping. Even their laminated list of instructions was grimy to the touch. We definitely did not get the accommodation that we had booked and expected. Msybe some of the rooms at this agriturismo are fine, but do not book the “ Salvia” apartment… dark, dank and unpleasant . apartment.

Exceed expectations!

This property delivered above expectation - the Suite was wonderful, spacious and clean and the grounds very well kept with a wonderful pool. We extended our stay by an extra night because we loved hanging out in this oasis outside of Pistoia. A short cycle into town is well worth it!

Beautiful location and Excellent stay !

The location is beautiful and very peaceful. We were personally welcomed when we drove into the location. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is lovely and the cakes are delicious. The pool is clean and we loved swimming there. The staff is AMAZING. My daughter got sick 2 days after arrival (on a Sunday !), fever and sore throat... the ladies from the reception helped me by calling the emergency medical services, and one of them DROVE me to the doctor's to get a prescription for antibiotics, and then drove me to the pharmacy to pick up the medicines. I have never experienced so much kindness from the hotel personnel. The staff is always welcoming, offering great cappuccinos and water, nothing we asked was too much, and always with a smile.

The air conditioning could get an upgrade. We stayed during a hot week (35-40C degrees daily) and the air conditioning was not optimal. Also, since the reception closes at 20:00-21:00, it would be great if a vending machine with cold drinks and snacks could be placed so guests can purchase cold water/drinks or snacks late in the evening.

Relax in the calm countryside

Beautiful location, staff super friendly and the breakfast is fabulous. The pool is clean and reserved space for each apartment/room. Free bikes you can borrow.

We came without a car, which is difficult but possible (taxi/bus stop 15mins walk). The olive and horse farm itself is 10mins walk down the road but just ask and you can go visit.

Beautiful turismo, friendly and welcoming, lovely pool and fantastic breakfast would highly recommend

Lovely pool and superb breakfast. Breakfast area and furniture /decor is beautiful. Dedicated pool loungers for each room so no need to worry about not getting one. Confortable beds, lots of space for families. Reception booked us dinner at a local restaurant 3 mins by car or 10 mins walking or you could use the free bikes - it was fabulous (Osteria di Limone).

AC broke down overnight and it was hot!!! we are experiencing a European heatwave so it’s important to go with the flow. Pool shuts at 7pm which seems early in summer when lots of people there still wanting to enjoy the pool with less severe heat at that time, and also there is no bar or shop on site so you have to go outside to purchase.

A little piece of heaven

Simply a little piece of heaven on earth. Absolutely loved it! The pool area is beautiful, everything is green and clean, the room was impecable, the staff absolutely wonderful! Everything is maintained very nice! You kind of wished you could live there :). Will be back for sure!
