We loved our stay in this well maintained comfortable farm house in a beautiful quiet rural area!

This is a classic older farm house that has been updated/remodeled with a completely modern kitchen, but it has the some of the charming older furnishings that makes it feel like you’re coming home each day after being out hiking and exploring the islands. The views from all the big windows are lovely and it’s so very quiet being about 1/2 mile off the main highway in a rural farm area.

A few more items for cooking would be great - oil, a few spices, sugar, another smaller fry pan. Soap in the shower

We have had a wonderful time. The weather was wonderful, that helped as well!

Location was perfect for us. Only nature around the house but the main road was very nearby.

It would have been nice if the hosts would have provided some tourist information, i.e, interesting things to do in the neighbourhood and info on good hiking trails. Tip for hosts: the address given was a bit confusing. AirBNB says Hagvagen in Lyngedal while it is Rauhveigen in Bostad or even Leknes according to the navigation in our car.

Relaxing, beautiful, comfy, quiet, lovely and really well equipped villa with lovely owners!

Hosts Hendry & Marita are one the most kind, nicest and helpful people we have ever met and we can't thank them enough. We would like to thank Hendry & Marita from the bottom of our hearts for making this lovely villa available for rent on our summer holiday trip. Very comfortable and perfect bed was made while we arrived and towels were ready at bathroom. Thank you Marita for it! Villa was extremely clean and Marita took a tour with us in the villa to show us around the many rooms. We also got really great information from Hendry & Marita on places to see during our holiday and we would like to thank owners again for pointing us in really beautiful locations. Villa is absolutely beautiful and location is really excellent in an island of Vestvågøya nearly in the middle of Svolvaer and Leknes. Gimsøya island is just over 10 km from the villa and it's a great place for hiking and we recommend hiking to Hoven mountain there. Villa was well beyond our wishes and also the most stunningly beautiful place we have ever stayed during our trips anywhere in Scandinavia. Kitchen was equipped perfectly and we enjoyed our cooking there. Quality of fridge, freezer and oven were excellent and in excellent condition. Washing machine downstairs was also excellent & very silent and we didn't hear any sound from it while it was on during our sleep. Hendry has done really top notch work at renowating this beautiful villa! Without a doubt this villa absolutely perfect!

We could've known before our arrival that during morning and in the evening water pressure drops for about 1,5 hours while washing of milk tank is ongoing in the nearby farm. By asking about the low water pressure from owners in the first evening we got that information right away and we could enjoy our stay without any harm after that. It was only a really minor thing it didn't affect our experience at all. Maybe that information about low water pressure could be added to information about villa so people would know it before their stay?

Exceptional

Lovely country house just ten minutes from the main road. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Can reach by bus and getting off at Hellos Kryss bus stop. Good walk up Hellostiden nearby.
