Good location, good bakeries near by. Close to the philosopher’s walk. Wonderful staff and complimentary coffee drinks i

Loved the little reading nook/sitting bench near the window. Also the staff were incredibly sweet. When we first got there, they gave us complimentary coffee drinks and and drink vouchers for the next morning. I love that there is a large resting area for the guests in the mornings/evenings in the restaurant. It was nice that they provided complimentary glass water bottles.

The shower door didn’t fully prevent water from leaking on the floor.

It was in a nice location.

1- parking situation was not clear until we were there and there was no parking, so we had to park in a parking garage overnight, which was 6 min driving, which made it pretty hard to take the bags in and out and make sure nothing is left in the car. 2- basement room: we got a basement room, which was no where in the description when we were booking, this was very upsetting. 3- you could not just show up to your breakfast, you had to book your time, and even with that, when we got to our table they told us that there will be a group arriving and we should make sure to leave in 45 min.

Stay Would Have Been Perfect If We Had Air Conditioning.

A quaint boutique hotel in a good area and walking distance to the castle and old town. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. We even got a complimentary drink when we arrived and had access to the mini bar at no charge. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean upon arrival. Great shower as well. IF the AC worked, my review would have been a 9/10.

NO AC. The room was clean but a bit noisy and stuffy as we had no air conditioning. It was noisy because we had to sleep with the window wide open. We were only there for one night and came back from our walks in the evening so we had no idea the AC was not working until later.

Comfortable, tidy room - ideal for a short stay

Great location opposite an historic, tidy square. Good acoustic windows so even though people stayed on the square drinking at the bars until late, we we never disturbed. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast.

Small room with no place for luggage. It would have been nice to have a bed with space underneath to hide our suitcases. The bathroom is open onto the room, probably because there is not enough space for a swing door, and we didn't like this.

We had a great three day stay here with our family!

The location was great! Loved the farmer's market in the squre across from the hotel. Lots of great local bars and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to many great Heidelberg attractions. Loved the neighborhood!

A very pleasant stay

The staff was very nice and accommodating .The room was clean. Located in a very nice residential area that was only about a thirty minute walk to the historic center.

Very friendly hotel in a great location.

The staff were the friendliest I have ever encountered in Germany. The rooms are small but have everything you need. It is very clean and in a super convenient location. The little square across the hotel offers a great selection of breakfast options and bars in the evening. The photos don’t do it Justice.

The glass doors in the bathroom are an interesting design choice. To be fair, this seems to be a trend in Germany these days.

The hotel is ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood, lots of cafe and restaurants near by, walking distance from the town center. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a big window. The staff was great as well! We will stay here again.

Great stay

This was my favourite hotel in our travels in Europe. When we arrived staff gave us complimentary parking vouchers to allow us to leave our car nearby on the street for our 3 day stay. We also received complimentary drink vouchers. Our room overlooked a pretty square with plenty of eating/drinking opportunities and a twice weekly food market. The room was spotless clean, bed comfy, and quiet area at night. Big thanks to the friendly, helpful staff
