Casa da Palmeira

Casa da Palmeira is a very welcoming home and representative of a typical portuguese family home. It was all very well equipped, very clean and ready to use, apart from the swimming pool, which was only for the owners to use. The location of the property is very central close to A15 which connects to the A1 (1h away from the airport) as well as 1h away from amazing beaches and seaside cities. I enjoyed the toads croaking during the night, the beautiful stork's nest just meters away from the house and hearing the local cockerels singing their early morning songs. I also enjoyed hearing the swifts, swallows, sparrows and black birds. The house has beautiful views of the village as well as the local hills and agriculture fields.

The house could have a couple of window fine meshes to stop insects coming into the house during the middle of the night. I tend to sleep with the window open and therefore I would have found that useful. Depending on where the wind was blowing from there was a smell of pig farming on some evenings, but this did not bother me, however I can imagine this could bother some people.

Local rústico. Ofertas: ginja caseira, bolinhos, morangos para apanhar... Já é a segunda vez que ficamos nesta casa!
