About this house rental
Enjoying spectacular views over Lough Mask, Kilbride Point is located in an idyllic rural setting. There is a fully fitted kitchen with full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The dining area looks out on to the lake through the large bay window. A spacious utility houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of storage. The sitting room is relaxing with a wood burning stove, a 32' flat screen TV with local channels, a DVD player with a great selection of DVDs for all ages. The property also has free WI-FI. Kilbride Point has 4 double bedrooms all with king size beds, 3 of which are on the ground floor. The master bedroom has an ensuite with luxury power shower. There is a downstairs shower room with luxury power shower and large shower enclosure. Upstairs is bedroom 4 and a spacious bathroom with free standing bath. A cosatto cot bed is available for a baby/toddler. A shed behind the house can be used for storage of bikes etc. Luxury gas BBQ and outdoor seating on the deck.
Kilbride Point is located in a scenic area on the Galway/Mayo border overlooking Lough Mask with wonderful mountain and lake views. It is located on a quiet road yet only 8 kilometres from the quaint village of Clonbur.
If you want tranquillity, amazing views, and relaxation, this is the place for you. And on those days when you wish to venture out, the beautiful west of Ireland can be explored. Why not visit Westport, one of Ireland's prettiest towns with its bustling atmosphere and great pubs. Then follow in the footsteps of Saint Patrick and climb Croagh Patrick to be rewarded with beautiful views over Clew Bay. Then take the drive from Louisburgh to Leenane, absolutely breathtaking scenery.
Cosmopolitan Galway City is just 50 kilometres away with theatres, cinemas, shopping and an abundance of excellent restaurants and pubs, and not forgetting the famous Galway races and annual arts festival in July each year.
The area of Connemara is not to be missed with it's beautiful beaches, mountains and lakes.
If a round of golf sounds good, then head to Ballinrobe Championship Parkland golf course, just 26 kilometres away.
Fishing boats and engines are available for hire locally, and can be located for you on the shore of either Lough Mask or nearby Lough Corrib. If you would like more information regarding boat hire, please send an email.

This property was exactly what my husband and I were hoping for! The view of the lough and the contrasting mountains was spectacular! We were visited by a few local goats and a sheep that appeared at the right moment to have her picture taken under one of many rainbows we experienced. We enjoyed everything about this cozy cottage. The host was kind and extremely accommodating! We hope to return in the future and are recommending this location to our friends. A stay we wil always treasure and never forget!

The house is huge and it has the spectacular view.
You don´t have direct neighbours so it is very calm.
The next villages are very nice so the whole landscape is.
We enjoyed our stay very much!

The house was very well equipped and more spacious than the photos showed. The view of the lake was wonderful and there were many places to visit within an hour's drive.
