About this cottage rental
10 minutes from King Shaka International Airport. 10 minutes from large shopping center.
You’ll love my place because of the amazing beds. I can make up either room with King size beds or 2 singles. Beds are extra length to add to your comfort. Percale linen, comfy pillows and the sound of the ocean will all add to the quality of sleep.
Umdloti has a village feel with some of the best restaurants in Durban. We are 150m walk to the beach and Umdloti Beach surf spot.
Our place is a retreat in the garden with sea views and 2 bedrooms each with their own private bathroom. The bedroom are spacious and the lounge is open plan with the kitchen. We have an alfresco undercover dinning facility with a weber kettle braai so you may enjoy the beautiful Durban weather. Walk to the beach (about 150m) to fab rock pools and surf spot. A place to relax and chill.
My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business people.
We live on the property with our 2 friendly dogs.

The property is really lovely and close to the beaches. We didn’t have a car so the very steep climbs were a problem limiting our movement a bit . The beach was quite rough during our visit .
The unit is well decorated. , clean and comfortable
Lots of lovely Resturants close by.
Our host Ruth was always available by text and helpful and non intrusive .
Overall I would recommend a stay here .

My young child, husband and I felt at home in Umdloti at Selection Beach! The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, bathrooms clean, and the garden with a view of the ocean was exceptional. The tidal pools were a hit with my son. Ruth was available and accommodating to our early check-in and any needs during our stay. We will return!

Spotless accommodation and a charming and helpful owner. A great place to spend some time. Close to the airport and Umdloti an excellent beach experience. Absolutely no reservations in recommending this VRBO

Ruth was a supremely lovely hostess. Her 2-bedroom apartment is very stylishly put together and she has put thought into every detail of the apartment. It is a very comfortable stay with everything you need (kitchen, washer, beach towels, etc.). The apartment is bright and airy and opens out onto a nice garden with views of the ocean. Umdloti is a quiet beach town perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing break from hectic jobs and city life. Be prepared for carrying your bags down the stairs to the garden level! There are several restaurants and small shops within walking distance not to mention the beach! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay-- it was just the relaxing beach weekend that we needed :)
