The best place to stay when visiting the Bellunese Dolomites.

Casa 1885 is the best place to stay for visiting Belluno, Feltre (a beautiful medieval city) and the Bellunese Dolomites. Casa 1885 is a home away from home in a very well refurbished and decorated old house in a small and well located village. Armanda is the best of hostesses, and her breakfast is just amazing. More than a breakfast it is a brunch! I will for sure return, I felt at home!

My stay at Casa 1885 had two highlights: the house itself and – the hostess. The mere fact that I was staying in a house built towards the end of the 19th century was very impressive. Casa 1885 is a successful blend of ethnic style and modern comfort, furnished with attention to detail, in a quiet location, and with views of the Dolomite peaks. The hostess Armanda treats you as a guest rather than a customer, ever-present but not intrusive, helpful even with special requests, with small favors that go far beyond the obligatory – in short – a born hostess. Highly recommended!

Very special B&B in the beautiful Dolomites

Fantastic host and great, very unique place. Casa 1885 is a rebuild old farmhouse, very rustical, cosy, nicely modernised, located in the small village, with an epic view on the Dolomites. Good size room, delicious breakfast, good wifi. Around 1-1.5hours for most Dolomite attractions and around 1 hour to Venice. Good base to explore the area. Definitely recommend.

Parking inside a bit tricky for a big car with a roofbox but manageable, no scratches.

Beautiful spot in a village in the foothills of the Dolomites. Lovely hostess!

I wanted to visit the Dolomites and I chose Belluno, which is located in the foothills. Amanda's home is located in Bes (sounds like "beast" but you chop of the "t" at the end), which can be reached fairly easily from Belluno train station by Bus V (2 euros). The V Bus was very helpful for me to connect to the Dolomiti buses going up into Agordo, Alleghe, and Livinalongo. It is also convenient to connect with the train to get to Venice and other locations. In any case, Bes has some spectacular views up into the Dolomites and is a tranquil, semi-rural place just a stone's throw from central Belluno. I enjoyed walking around the village very much. Amanda is a super-kind host who likes to engage with her guests... and it was so interesting to speak with her! I enjoyed our conversations very much! She also makes a beautiful breakfast and introduced me to some flavors and treats I had never tried before. Bravo! The room was very comfortable, with a super modern bathroom and a balcony on which one could relax. Amanda has also curated a lot of older, perhaps antique furniture, and other items, so it is a bit like a museum... but one that is kept super-clean. Casa 1885 was a wonderful find. I enjoyed my stay there very much!

The accommodation is located in a lovely house, facing the mountains. The breakfast is amazing, with home made Italian goods and the host is just the sweetest. It is accessible by bus and the views are definitely a plus. I have enjoyed my time so much there, I will definitely come back!

Wonderful stay

It’s really hard to name all advantages of this accommodation in a short review: beautiful house in tranquille countryside just outside of Belluno, cozy room, balcony which is not directly connected to the room, but is available for guests’ use, excellent breakfast made from domestic ingredients and a very kind and welcoming host. To cut a long story short this was a perfect stay and if I could give a grade of more than 10, I surely would.

We only wished we could have stayed longer here! Armanda prepared a spectacular breakfast for us and had everything we needed in our room. Everything was super clean and tidy with beautiful views of the mountains. We used Belluno as a stop over for our trip to the Dolomites and we would love to stay here again the next time we go back!

A huge plus is Armanda's outstanding breakfasts - they are a feast for both the eyes and the palate! A great place to stay and enjoy the Dolomites and nearby areas.

Very welcoming stay in Casa 1885

We checked-in very late and leave very early and Armanda was very kind and prepared us breakfasts to take away with us. Everything was so delicious - Thank you very much, appreciate. :) Room was very clean and we slept very well. So sweet and welcoming feeling when staying in Casa 1886 quarateed.

Cozy room in an old beautiful Italian casa. Breakfast is absolutely amazing. Homemade cookies are delightful. Really there is a kettle, cups and even tea bags in the room (and bottle of drinking water). There also is an foldable table and two chairs so you can comfortably enjoy your tea (we arrived late and that was what the doctor ordered). Hostess is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay and great hosts!

I have no words to describe how lovely was our stay at Casa 1885. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Our room had a great view to the mountains and it was super clean. We are traveling with a baby, so they also provided a crib - which made our stay even more comfortable. Certainly, breakfast was a big highlight. It was beyond our expectations! Everything was delicious. I which we could have stayed more days.

Warmly welcomed by host mrs. Armanda. The best host I’ve ever met till now, she knows how to treat guests and very attentive. B&b situated little country side called Bes near Belluno (6,8km) . Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Breakfast is very generous sweets hand made by mrs.Armanda and very tasty , there are also local cheese, ham,speck, salame.

Only thing is there is no phone line for me(I have tim) and also WiFi not working good, I hope she’ll fix this!

Die Unterkunft ist eine Perle unter allen Unterkünften in der Region. Sie ist in jedem Detail mit Liebe eingerichtet und die Betreiberin ist über alle Maßen zuvorkommend und freundlich und ein besseres Frühstück werden sie in keinem Hotel finden. P.s. Kinderfreundlich wird der Wahrheit nicht gerecht.. meine Kleine wäre am liebsten einfach geblieben❤️

Neuvěřitelně citlivá rekonstrukce, útulné prostředí , bohaté snídaně, paní Armanda udělá co vám na očích vidí. Dům v klidné oblasti, místní bar hned pod domem a krásný výhled na kopce.
