Splendid Villa near Valbonne in a Peaceful and Secure private domain.

We really enjoyed staying in this house, in fact it is one of the best we have rented. Very nice furnishings and everything was clean and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable (which wasn't the case in the place we rented last year in SW France). But the highlight was the garden which was quite spectacular (better than in the photos) and the views over the forest all the way to the sea are to die for! Quite a large heated pool and much better than some of the other houses we have stayed in. The property manager (Lionel) was very professional and always responded quickly when we had questions about the house or local amenities. This is an ideal house for families with children and we would certainly recommend this place to our friends.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for two weeks. We have been coming to the area for years and this is the one of several homes we have rented. We have friends who own homes in the area and know neighbors as well. We own several homes and are also landlords. We have never had any problems until now.The home is managed by a company called Riviera Prime. Since their agent lives over an hour away, he sends a non-English speaking housekeeper (even though their website claims to be "English speaking") to take care of problems. The agent apparently cannot be bothered to show up and proved to be incompetent, irresponsible and condescending. We only saw him twice; when we arrived and when we departed. Upon our arrival at the villa, the agent immediately presented us with a 16 page inventory list to sign. Aside from a cursory tour of the home, we were not given the opportunity to review the list in detail. When we expressed concern about it and asked if it was current, this we were told “yes it is current” and to not to worry about it as it was just a “formality”. It was then that we noticed some obvious stains on the dining area carpet, looked at the list and noticed it had been rated in “perfect” condition. It was definitely not "perfect" and we asked him to note that on the inventory list, which he did reluctantly. His credibility with us started to deteriorate at that point. Do not sign this list! Even when I made the agent make a notation on the inventory list that there were stains on the rug, he still made an attempt to blame us for the stains during the exit inspection and threatened to deduct money from our security deposit for replacement or cleaning of the rug. Also, during our initial tour we asked several important questions about the house for which the agent had either an incomplete answer or no knowledge at all. For example, he did not know where the master switch was located to reset the breaker in case of an outage or other emergency situation. This happens frequently and suddenly in this area when it rains. We also asked if there was some sort of instruction manual for the house along with emergency numbers. He responded with a shrug. At that point we knew he did not know the house very well. In addition we noticed that the house was not clean. There was thick dust everywhere and the floors had not been well vacuumed. Still waste from last renters. No backup keys for safes. I could go on and on but out of room.

Our family (kids aged 13, 19, and 21 years old) stayed in the villa for two weeks and didn't want to leave! The villa is very nice and the garden and pool is absolutely beautiful - with a magnificent view. It is located in a secured area where there is easy access to a supermarket (Carrefour), bakery, pharmacy (5 mins drive) and the cities of Biot (10 mins), Valbonne (10 mins), Antibes (20 mins), Cannes (25 mins) and Nice (35 mins) making it a great spot for exploring the French Riviera - even though it's a difficult decision to leave the villa. If you get annoyed by strange electrical installations and old tv and sound systems this place is not for you. Otherwise it's the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. We would not hesitate to come back.

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette sublime villa située en plein cœur de Valbonne! Très bon accueil réservé par Lionel le sympathique manager villa, qui a su se rendre disponible et répondre à toutes nos interrogations aussi bien avant que pendant notre séjour. Les plus de la maison: - chaque chambre dispose de sa salle d’eau et de ses propres toilettes - somptueuse piscine et jardin arboré parfaitement entretenu avec vue sur la mer - cuisine intérieure et extérieure tres bien équipées - domaine résidentiel ultra sécurisé mais qui reste quand même facile d’accès - literie d’excellente qualité Nous recommandons fortement cette maison et espérons y séjourner de nouveau pour des prochaines vacances!

We stayed at this amazing villa for 10 days - and had a very nice vacation. We were 3 familys staying here - and the house was spaceous and well equipted. We loved the house, the pool/poolhouse and the garden! We got very good information before our stay and during our stay from Lionel - Riviera Prime. We would love to come back some day, and would really recommend this house.
