About this cottage rental
Cortijos Rurales Reul Alto is a Rural Tourism complex composed of 7 independent, very spacious rural houses with a capacity of 2, 4, 6 and up to 8 beds. Our complex keeps the typical architecture according to the traditional way of construction of the Sierra de los Filabres, while offering all the comforts. A farmhouse with more than 200 years old, completely renovated and surrounded by an almond grove.
We have a magnificent pool, an area with barbecues, playground, a mini golf court, swings, petanque, farm, parking, meeting room for business meetings, industrial kitchen for large groups and a large living room with fireplace for groups.
It is located in a dream place, located in an old cortijada, in the mountains, but very close to the town of Laroya, Almería. In the enigmatic Sierra de los Filabres, 60 km from the beach of Vera and 80 km from Almeria capital, in the middle of a farm declared ecological by the Andalusian Committee of Ecology, is the rural farmhouse San Marcos in the High Reul.
Its lands are planted with almond trees, surrounded by mountains and charming trails that invite you to stroll, while contemplating splendid views of the Almanzora valley, as well as the marble quarries of Macael.
Our accommodations:
- Casa Rural Jaraiz Vip: 2 places. Equipped with a double bedroom and bathroom with private Jacuzzi, living room with fireplace and equipped kitchen.
- Rural House Museum: 2/4 beds. It has 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, living room with fireplace, bathroom with tub with hydromassage and patio.
- Casa Rural Padre Ramón: 2/4 beds. It has, 2 double, kitchen, living room with fireplace, bathroom with private jacuzzi the size of a double bed with TV with HDMI and USB plug inside the Jacuzzi and terrace with barbecue.
- La Curiosa Rural Cottage: 6 beds. Equipped with 2 double bedrooms, one double, kitchen, living room with fireplace, 2 bathrooms and patio.
- San Marcos Rural Cottage: 6 beds. Spacious house with 3 bedrooms, 2 double and one double, kitchen, living room with fireplace, 2 bathrooms and terrace with barbecue.
- Matasiete Rural House: 8 places. With 2 double bedrooms, 2 doubles, living room with fireplace, equipped kitchen, patio with barbecue and 2 bathrooms. This house is adapted for people with reduced mobility.
- Casa Rural Albaida: 6 beds. House with terrace, living room with fireplace, kitchen, a double bedroom, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms.

Este verano estubimos en el cortijo una semana, fue una experiencia muy buena. El cortijo está muy bonito en cuanto a decoración e instalaciones, la tranquilidad, el paisaje... , no te imaginas que en Almería existan estos lugares ( no todo es playa). Ramón es una persona muy amable y agradable nos informo de todo lo que podiamos hacer. Merece una visita. Muy recomendable

Queremos dejar constancia de que hemos pasado unos días de tranquilidad y relajación total en un entorno privilegiado. Los cortijos están bastante bien, tanto equipados como acondicionados. El trato del propietario es excelente. Os lo recomendamos si lo que quereis es cargar las pilas y olvidaros del estrés cotidiano. Intentaremos volver en cuanto podamos

Lo hemos pasado muy bien y hemos disfrutado, tanto nosotros, como nuestra perra, de la hospitalidad de sus dueños, la amabilidad de los trabajadores y la generosidad de los habitantes de Laroya. Recuerdos a la señora, que por subirla al cortijo, nos regaló huevos con plumas todavía y una bolsa de patatas buenísimas, como la mermelada de moras, o las migas que nos preparó Ramón. El día que marchamos de allí, sentí verdadera tristeza porque además, este tipo de alojamiento atrae a gente maravillosa como Ángel, Inma y sus mellizos con los que disfrutamos un montón de una barbacoa nocturna elaborada con la carne de Guevara, de donde nos tragimos hasta un jamón. Total, como diría King África, la BOOOOOOOMBA!!!. Mil gracias. El acceso con esas curvas fue lo único que yo cambiaría, pero eso es porque tengo vértigo.
