Christies at 32 on Russell

Another great stay at Christie's, everything is top class . The service is amazing, the staff are so friendly, helpful and professional and really go the extra mile for visitors. The manager Suzanne is an absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing is too much trouble and she is welcoming, warm, friendly and ultra professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this jewel in the Lowveld. The pool, the food, the rooms, just beautiful.

A special and charming property with genuinely kind, helpful, and welcoming staff. The house and garden are beautiful and well maintained, and the room was very comfortable and well equipped. A lovely place.

Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep well on the first night due to noise from guests in a nearby room coming and going throughout the night. I could clearly hear people talking, footsteps and heels, as well as doors opening and closing. The wooden doors don’t seem to be very well insulated, so sound travels quite easily. I woke up three times, around 11 p.m., 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., because of doors shutting. At check-out, I was asked how my stay had been, so I mentioned the issue. I was a little disappointed that my feedback wasn’t really acknowledged or addressed, which made me wonder why guests are asked about their experience if their concerns aren’t meaningfully responded to.

Breakfast was lovely with diverse spread of fresh fruit, danish and cereals. Off course the eggs were prepared to the best of my liking!
