I had a wonderful experience at the Samann Grand Hotel. The room was quite good, with a view of the sea and the airport. It was also very convenient thanks to its central location and nearby amenities. They also operate another hotel, Ocean Grand, so their staff work between the two properties and provide great support when traveling across to Hulhumalé. The most impressive part was the staff. They were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. They even assisted us in booking a day tour.

Very close to the airport and the staff was very efficient during the pick up (that’s free) and check-in as well. Everyone was very polite and professional! We’ve got the suite and it’s very spacious and clean. Read some reviews about the noise of the mosque but I particularly heard for 2 seconds and went back to sleep. It’s a 100% Muslim country so it’s part of the culture and experience :) they provided ear plugs but we didn’t needed them at all Will definitely be back!

At first, we were disappointed because the room was much smaller than expected based on the photos, and it didn't feel worth the price. The biggest issue was the noise — there are Muslim prayer temples right in front and next to the hotel, and the loud prayer calls, especially on Fridays and five times a day, made it hard to relax. We were hoping for a quiet place. However, the receptionist Balaji was very kind and provided excellent service, which helped improve our experience. Also, the restaurant on the 10th floor was a pleasant surprise it offered a great view, the prices were reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious.
