We arrived in Male airport too late ti transfer to our island resort. The hotel offered free transfers from and back to the airport and everything worked smoothly. We had a room without a window, which may sound off putting. But as it was pitch black when we arrived, Male doesn’t have any spectacular views and we left at 9.30 am this was not a problem - particularly as the a/c worked efficiently and quietly. Soleil restaurant on the 10th floor was good for light meal till midnight and quick inexpensive breakfast in morning. The hotel is probably the closest on Male Island to airport and about 10 minutes drive away,
