About this villa rental
Mountain Song is located in the foothills of the Besparmak mountains just below Karmi, arguably the prettiest village in North Cyprus, with its picturesque restored stone houses and colorful gardens, excellent restaurant, coffee shop and welcoming pub makes it a delight to visit.
The property has been built on a third of an acre with a private and secluded location and has an al fresco dining area with bbq overlooking the pool which has a large sun deck area where you can relax and enjoy the panoramic views of Karmi, St Hilarion castle and the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Inside the decor has a contemporary but homely feel where you will find on the ground floor a large living room, separate dining room and a spacious well equipped kitchen kitchen, house bathroom and two bedrooms. Upstairs is the master bedroom complete with ensuite and private terrace.
For those of you who are interested in walking or hiking there are several mountain trails just outside the villa's grounds including a couple that takes you to Karmi.
The beaches and Kyrenia are only a 10 minutes drive with Ercan airport just 45 minutes and Larnaca 90 minutes.Car rental can be arranged along with airport transfers which will ensure you have no difficulty locating the property when you arrive.

A beautiful house with stunning views offering peace and relaxation. Car required with lots of places to visit and nearby restaurants to enjoy. Lovely swimming pool which was so enjoyable for early morning swims and to cool down in the middle of the day. This is a super property and not spoilt by lots of silly rules and regulations. We had a great time there.

If you are looking for a relaxing escape then look no further than 'Mountain Song'.. NIgel was very helpful from first contact and his beautiful home was just what we were looking for! A car is essential as the villa is very private. A few minutes will take you down to the main road where you can turn either left or right to explore this beautiful area of Northern Cyprus. The fabulous Crows Nest restaurant/bar is a five minute drive from the villa in the very quaint village of Karmi. We were very comfortable in Nigels beautiful home..everything was perfect and the pool absolutely beautiful. You will have complete privacy in Mountain Song..we look forward to returning!!

If you want to get away from it all this is the Villa for you. Everything you want for a perfect stay is at hand. The hosts were extremely helpful especially as our vacation changes so many times. This is the best property I have stayed at in Northern Cyprus and am hoping to return in the very near future.

Mountain Song is in a beautiful location at Edremit, looking down towards Kyrenia and the coast and towards St Hilarion castle. The pool was great. The chairs, both inside and out were not overly comfortable and there was no microwave or Smart TV. The television was not compatible for use with a laptop. There are no ceiling lights in the kitchen but there were sufficient crockery and utensils. When the washing machine stopped working after several power cuts it was fixed the next day. If you want access to the main tourist areas and nightlife this is not the place for you. If you want something peaceful and don't mind having no microwave or proper TV and accessing the property via a bumpy track then you will be fine. I would strongly recommend bringing a torch as power cuts are to be expected and although the property does have a torch it is good to have more than one.
