Absolutely loved my stay at Marco’s appartement in Leblon District of Rio. The beautiful white sandy beach was but a 2 min walk and also in within 5 min walk to so many restaurants and a massive shopping mall. Being my first time to Brazil, or South America for that matter, and don’t speak Portuguese, I was unusually apprehensive coming here solo but felt super safe in Leblon and finishing each day with a few drinks on the beach at night. Marco was an exceptional host, super accommodating and a great source for advice. Thank you Marco

The apto is very well located, just a few meters from the beach and very close to coffees, bars etc. The building is a little old but the apartment has been renovated recently and is very confortable and very well equiped with all necessary appliances. I strongly recomend.

The location is great but the building is old. The apartment itself is cute and has everything that you need. The host is great! Be aware that there is flight of stairs up (no elevator) if you have small kids. Also, the window and TVs weren’t working.

Most importantly, the AC made me sick after just one night. So I looked at the AC and there was black mold all over the top of it. The building is full of roaches and the owner did not leave check in instructions so I was not able to check in on the agreed day and time. Then he denied everything and claimed that everything works perfectly. I left immediately and had to get a hotel room. Stay away.

The place is located in one of the best and safest location In Rio! I am a female and stayed there by myself feeling absolutely safe! I would walk by myself at night to the beach and back absolutely fine! You can see the beach from your bedroom window, while birds sing, interred by car some trafic noises though! Vanusa who received me is sweet and very attentive! She was flexible and kind with arrival time being delayed a feel times. Marco Antônio was quickly responsive and easy to communicate with! There plenty restaurantes close by, but specially a local one on the corner, to the left, that is absolutely delicious and cheep! Best rice and beans, and Feijoada! Everything you will need will be at walking distance from the place! It is a small place, but Perfect for what I needed!! The only thing that could make it better, specially for longer staying, is if it had a laundry washer! Will be back!
