Location and cleanliness

On Booking.com, the fireplace was listed as one of the studio apartment’s standout feature, and it is also shown in the photos. However, we found a note in the room saying, “Captain’s Quarters: Do not try to light the wood-burning stove… use the electric heater.” This actually doesn’t make sense at all. When I asked the host, she said that using the fireplace makes the room too hot, so we would need to open the windows if we use it. I hope they remove that part from the booking description and stop advertising it as a fireplace.

The views were spectacular.

The pillows were very hard.

Great location with amazing view of the bay in Homer. It was like an Air bnb style property & was supplied with everything such as a full size fridge, coffee machine etc.

The only thing, which is minor - It is a bit over furnished & has too many cushions etc

The view was nice

The room was cramped with no dresser and very noisy from the upstairs restroom. It sounded like someone was flushing a toilet on my head!! The trail to the beach should be labeled as, "break your ankle and hope you don't die. The owner was nice, but the hot tub was gross. It was a pretty view though!
