Bay Avenue Inn

The host Lori was really nice and she took care of us very well. We had good time there. Her backyard and deck were beautiful and peaceful. There were three moose walking by but we missed them by a few minutes. Other guests had seen them😂.

Better instruction to operate the coffee machine so we can make a pot by ourself when Lori is not there.

The breakfast every morning was set out early so eating times could be flexible as each guest would set out for individual adventures throughout the morning some before 6 others later if sleeping in was on the agenda. There was always plenty of fresh fruit, waffles, cereal, and toast with homemade bread and jams. The coffee was also outstanding. Location was excellent for multiple daily adventures as well as close location to the spit and restaurants. You had the ability to use a wonderful kitchen or grill on the patio for your own home-cooked meals if desired. There was plenty plenty of refrigerator space and a laundry area was available. Lori, our host was incredibly accommodating and five stars would not say enough about her. She did everything in her power to make you feel at home. It is without reservation. I would Recommend Bay Avenue Inn for anyone who would love to get away to Homer,AK

There is nothing that we did not like. Parking and access to the B&B were great.

The facilities and room were very nice, and clean. Location was convenient. The views were beautiful.

The room and bathroom were very small. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the guest beside us snoring. The owner of the inn, was drunk when we showed up, and were told that she collects payment when we left, IF we liked our stay. She then would call us everyday, to ask when we were going to pay, and we reminded her every time she called of what she said when we checked in. There was no breakfast- even though it was advertised as having breakfast. The first morning we were there- owner was no where to be found, and we sat in the common area for about 30-45 mins waiting on “the home cooked breakfast” she had promised the night before. The last morning we were there, breakfast was fruit and cereal- we just left, without breakfast again. Owner seems very confused, and very forgetful. Our stay was not the best.
