This resort’s prime location on the beach in Kahana is perfect. The spacious villas are beautifully appointed. Onsite amenities include underground parking, tennis courts, basketball hoop, swimming pool, children's pool, whirlpool, restaurant and bar, beach with beach amenity rental shack, 2 exercise facilities, ohana game room and barbecue grills. The resort is within a 10-minute drive of 3 championship golf courses which are open to the public. Sands of Kahana is ideal to help create your impeccable Maui vacation. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. Captain Jack's Restaurant on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.
Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. We loved our stay (my family from Denver and me from San Diego). I have a timeshare at Sands of Kahana and was there two weeks prior to moving to the three bedroom. I was only disappointed about the fact that there was not much notice (the day before I moved in) that you didn’t supply salt and pepper, coffee filters, laundry detergent, washing machine detergent, trash bags of paper products. I was told “we’re not a timeshare”. It was difficult to find two weeks’ worth of detergent; I could have brought things from home if I had notice. Salt , pepper, detergent and coffee filters are basic items in any rental unit. Luckily some items were left behind by previous tenants. Otherwise we loved it and are coming back the same time next year!

The property was great. Very spacious and clean. Loved having beach access right there and a restaurant. The views from the balcony was spectacular! Check in and out was a breeze and took less than 10 minutes for each! I will say that the washer and dryer didn't work well. Washer didn't clean all that well and the dryer took a very long time and multiple cycles to get the towels dry. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat!
