Very helpful host apartment was clean and in a great position in the city

Very nice appartement and very well situated in Budapest

The accommodation was nice and large to accommodate 2 families of 4 (including 4 teenagers)With being Canadian the entrance to the apartment was a little suspect with all the graffiti on the walls and doors. Once arriving in the apartment and spending time in the city the entrance and the elevator became charming and brought authenticity to our home of 3 nights. The air con was great, beds were comfortable. It was excellent that there was a full bathroom and another powder room with just a toilette and sink. It would be helpful if you would put a mirror in this powder room. Kitchen was good. We did not use it to cook in, we simply used the fridge to site some waters, juice etc. the freezer needs to be defrosted to add room to store things. There was no instruction in how to use the washing machine. We simply turned it on and just stopped it when we felt the clothes might be clean. And a drying rack for people to dry their clothes old also be useful to have in the apartment. Location was wonderful. Grocery store around the corner, cafes less than a block away. Metro/buses all right at your doorstep. Lime bikes also right there to utilize. Thanks for opening your home to us. Perhaps having a guest book would create some memories for you and for others to read.

Great location - decent apartment for price. A few issues - 1. We had a medical emergency and the host did not provide information on where to go, who to call. 2. We were asked not to use air conditioner, we complied and opened windows instead - my nephew was awoke in the middle of the night with a bat in his room. Very scary night for us as we had to figure out how to remove the bat. 3. Linens hanging in living room and bedroom, while I understand there is no dryer on property it blocked the closet in the bedroom and took away from atmosphere. 4. Finally We we’re provided barely 1 roll of TP per the two bathrooms. We immediately had to run and purchase TP., also no trash bags to throw away garbage. If you don’t provide these basic amenities you should say so to ensure people come prepared.
