A wonderful short stay in this fascinating town

Modern stay in the middle of the wood

all good, very modern, big space of the room and fantastic decoration.

The gate of the parking is very narrow and it is pretty challenging for cars to go in and out. The location is a little bit in the middle of nowhere but still in the middle of Gorizia.

Exceptional

Amazingly furnished, tidy, very spacious room with a clean and tidy (shared) bathroom. Our stay there was very comfortable, with the host being extremely friendly and letting us check-in even late in the evening; in the morning we also got a nice breakfast. The parking space was in the backyard.

Despite the novelty, modern design, and extreme tidiness of the place, it was still a bit pricy regarding the location.

A dream come true!

The property it’s simply outstanding! I had a spacious room (around 20 sq meters); I like that I could use part of the closet for my clothes; Giancarlo, the owner helped me arranging a modern work space for my remote working in my room. The WiFi has been working great and could get things done (I am a finance pro on a business trip). Simply amazing! The bathroom, the room and the whole house very clean. I appreciated that I could park my car in the alley by the garden entrance without extra charges. Again: this is a great point! I enjoyed the fact that Giancarlo is a global citizen opened to a chat and happily sharing advices about things to do in the city. I am very grateful to Giancarlo sharing some amazingly cooked fresh food when he saw me extremely busy with my job: what a great experience my stay in Gorizia! I am a digital nomad (more than 40 countries) and to my assessment Giancarlo’s place is by now the best value for money I had. In addition: the design bathroom with walk-in shower is simply award winning. The open space kitchen / leaving room it’s a beauty and the balcony with the view on the garden with chestnuts trees is inspirational. Thanks to Giancarlo for having given to the whole space a spirit and an allure of inclusion, acceptance, modernity and happiness. Oh and the center is at a “throwing a rock” distance! Overall rating: full marks on all points! Definitely worth the money!!!

Not only there is nothing I did not like but also I am planning to book another visit to Gorizia at Giancarlo place: this time for leisure just to enjoy dining out and sites visiting.

Tra città e natura

Davvero una bella location, recente e arredata con gusto. Camera e bagno entrambi grandi e confortevoli. La posizione era davvero ottima, comodissima al centro ma immersa nel verde e nella tranquillità. Il proprietario davvero bravo, molto disponibile nel venire incontro alle mie esigenze e richieste/adattamenti relative alla camera. Davvero un bel soggiorno, grazie mille.

Non è un B&B, è un appartamento condiviso

Gli ampi spazi, la camera era veramente grande. Il parcheggio privato, visto che si trova in una zona in cui non ci sono spazi all'aperto dove parcheggiare.

Lo scrivo a titolo informativo per tutti coloro che si apprestano a prenotare. NON È UN BB,trattasi di appartamento in condivisione con il padrone di casa, senza zona giorno e notte. Non che sia in assoluto un male, ma avrei gradito che fosse ben descritto. Fortuna ero solo, ma se fossi stato in compagnia non sarebbe stato piacevole. La sera rientrando ho dovuto attraversare il salone con il padrone di casa bello spamparazzato sul divano a guardarsi la TV e i piatti della sua cena sulla penisola. Avrei gradito che fosse indicato che il bagno era esterno alla camera ( non era descritto ) perché è veramente imbarazzante uscire in accappatoio a casa di sconosciuti, ripeto appartamento su un unico piano senza zona notte . Avrei gradito ci fosse un TV in camera, come descritto nell'annuncio, e che mancava. In sostanza, nulla di in assoluto non accettabile, ma andrebbe descritto per correttezza. La cosa invece inaccettabile è l'assenza di persiane: impossibile dormire dopo le 6 del mattino, a meno di maschera notturna. Le sottili tende quasi trasparenti non coprono nulla.
