Hue Sweethouse 2 Homestay

Is very well located. The staff was super friendly and help us organize a lot of our activities in HUE. The room was big and comfortable. They have a super super good breakfast

Cosy, nicely furnished room with a balcony, fan and AC, very good value for money. They even allowed me to store luggage and shower/change in the morning upon arrival from the night train though was too early for checking-in, and arranged a washing too.

The concept of selecting the breakfast the day before i dont see the point, especially as they start preparing them once showing up for breakfast. And some selected items didnt even arrive…

Hue Sweethouse 2 was a genuinely lovely place to stay. The location is great, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfortable and nicely decorated, a real step up from what I'd experienced elsewhere in Vietnam at this price range. But the real highlight was the staff. Lisa and Moon at reception were exceptional: warm, helpful, and genuinely invested in making the stay good. Lisa even gifted me a bracelet with a lucky blue flower on my last day, which was such a thoughtful touch. They helped me book tours, recommended restaurants that turned out to be excellent, and always had time for a conversation. Cleanliness was good, honest to say that truly immaculate is hard to find at this level in Vietnam, but this was well maintained and I had no complaints. Would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting Hue, especially solo travelers who'll appreciate the personal attention and care.

Very sweet people managing the homestay. Especially the papa... the rooms were comfortable and clean. The air con worked perfectly and it was a really pleasant stay. Beds were comfortable too. Breakfast was good. U can ask for as much of whatever you want. Very close to walking street and a short taxi ride to the Citadel.

No elevator so the bags have to be lugged upstairs.
