About this cottage rental
The Rural Housing "Piqueras" is located within the region of the Sierra Sur de Jaén, in the municipality of Alcalá la Real, located on the hill that carries the same name, with wonderful views of the Sierra Sur and the Sierra Nevada.
As Tierra de Frontera, which is the municipality of Alcalá la Real between the provinces of Jaén, Granada and Córdoba, the capitals of these three provinces are located at distances of 70, 45 and 100 km. respectively.
The construction of the House is from the year 1. 990, although it was adapted for Rural Housing of Tourist Housing in 2013. All its rooms are decorated in the style "VINTAGE" and have wonderful views of the Sierra Nevada, the Sierra Sur and even the Castle of La Mota de Alcalá la Real.
From the main terrace, also, you can see beautiful views as well as enjoy any meal of the day.
The house has five bedrooms, all of them doubles, of which two have a bathroom.
The large living room has a kitchen incorporated but separated by an American bar, which has a large table with its corresponding chairs and a sofa by the fireplace to rest or watch television quietly.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, etc., as well as a wide range of crockery and cutlery.
On the outside and next to the pool there is an area where there is a great barbecue that will delight the people who like to cook. There is also the area of "El Parral", where in summer, you can rest or make any meal of the day without at all, feel the rigor of the heat.
For the winter, in addition to the fireplace, heating is available in all the rooms with a biomass central boiler.

The villa is very comfortable and easily sleeps 10 guests. The pool is lovely - very clean and salt water, so no nasty chlorine smells. Really enjoyed sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful country views, crowned by the castle at Alcala La Real. The gardens are very pleasant and there are 4 outside terraces and sitting areas, so ideal for al fresco living and dining.
The host kindly provided a hairdryer for our use, but the only slight disappointment is that the villa was absolutely bare - nothing had been left in the cupboards for our use - not even a bottle of water, or teaspoon of sugar. Had to buy a litre of olive oil to dress one salad and ended up leaving E10's worth of food and supplies.

Todo excelente, el trato del propietario, la casa es tal cual las imagenes, totalmente equipada de todo y todo super limpio y bien cuidado. Fuimos un grupo de amigos con 3 niños pequeños y se lo pasaron genial. Si podemos repetiremos seguro.

Estuvimos tres familias, 11 personas en el puente de Diciembre y desde el minuto uno la atención de los propietarios fue estupenda. La casa es tal y como aparece en las fotografías. Bien de equipamiento, la calefacción y la chimenea estupendas y mención aparte los colchones, estupendos.
Para visitar la Fortaleza de la Mota, eso si un dia sin niebla, para disfrutar las vistas y también Alcala la Real. Muy recomendable
