About this farm stay rental
Our lovingly renovated farmhouse and barn is spacious and light. Located in the peaceful hamlet with a fresh water spring, it's surrounded by lush green fields and trees.
In the barn, a spacious kitchen dining room with 4m high vaulted ceiling and stunning views leading to terrace, garden and BBQ. The 30m2 lounge, 4m high stone arch ceiling with 2 sofas, satellite TV and wood burner. The utility has a third toilet.
Connected to the barn, the house; 3 spacious bedrooms, luxurious bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, double sink, bidet and toilet and upstairs a shower room with sink and toilet. Water sports, walking, cycling, canoeing, swimming and fishing are popular activities in close proximity. Lakes, markets, restaurants and amenities all in 4-20 mins drive. Airports: Beziers, Rodez, Toulouse, Carcassonne and Montpellier. Wifi and parking
The hamlet of La Vayssiere is nestled in rural SW France, a place of fresh air and the sounds of bird song, swans taking off from the river and herons crayfishing. 2mins from the house you can access riverside beaches, a great place to picnic and swim. From the house you can take a 40min circular walk which passes a church, the hamlet, Couffoulens and sidles the river Tarn, back past the fresh water spring. Sure to see the many couples of swans that live by the river and the shouts of excited kayakers passing the rapids. Living at the property is an independent ginger cat. 'Fluffy', one years old enjoys scouting around out in the countryside.

* Brousse le Chateau 4 mins: Restaurant, Tuesday morning market, 9th C fortified castle, pottery. Voted one of the most beautiful villages in France.
* Camping Batu 2mins: Swimming, Snacks, Ice cream, Coffee and Wifi
* Saint Affrique 20mins: Saturday market and Flea market. Our nearest town served by regular buses from Millau, Albi, Toulouse and Montpellier.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines reposantes à La Vayssiere.
Un petit hameau perché sur les bords du Tarn.
Kate est une personne adorable et bienveillante.
La maison est d’une propreté irréprochable et bien équipée.
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !
La baignade dans le Tarn est possible ; le chemin pour y accéder à pied est un peu escarpé. Mais il y a des endroits accessibles rapidement (5min) en voiture.

Nous avons passé 15 jours très agréables dans une belle grange réahabilitée en habitation au sein du petit hameau de La Vayssière. La maison est très bien équipée, aménagée avec goût, spacieuse, fraîche lorsqu'il fait chaud et très confortable lorsque le temps est moins favorable. Les extérieurs sont également très agréables et spacieux (belle terrasse, pergola, transat, barbecue, petit prés et jardin...). Le hameau est très calme, les voisins discrets et sympathiques et un petit chemin mène rapidement au bord de l'eau et à la baignade en tout tranquillité. La région est magnifique, peu fréquentée, idéale pour la ballade, la baignade, le canoé et le repos. Petits commerces à proximité.

Nous recommandons vivement cette location et tout particulièrement à ceux qui recherchent le calme dans un environnement naturel.

Kate et son mari nous ont réservés un excellent accueil. La maison est grande, très bien équipée. Cuisine bien conçue, il n'y manque rien. Sanitaires impeccables. Voisins discrets et sympas. Le cadre est magnifique, de jolies ballades dans les environs, Brousse-le-Château est un splendide petit village le long du Tarn tout proche. On peut s'approvisionner facilement à Broquiès, à 10 minutes en voiture. Voilà une location qui a tout pour plaire, nous la recommandons vivement.

Somos tres parejas del Pais Vasco que hemos pasado una semana muy relajante y tranquila en esta bonita y bien equipada casa a orillas del Tarn.Hacer especial mención al jardín y a la posibilidad de darte un baño en el rio aledaño.
Quiero darle las gracias en nombre de todos a Kate por su recibimiento y amabilidad.
