Keep it a secret

Fantastic fully equipped bungalows in immaculately maintained grounds. I didnt want to write this review as I want to keep it secret. Amazing place, amazing food, mo more than expensive than anywhere else we have eaten and brilliant quality. The staff are outstanding and helpnin any way they can. Mr Chang is a living legend. This place is a hidden paradise, we came here from Koh Jum a small island but here is like stepping back in time, very remote just perfect to sit back and relax, comfy bungalows we opted for fan this time and amazing friendly helpful staff we also had a chat with Mr Chung. The food here is delicious we had breakfast lunch and dinner

There’s nothing not to like, but if you want busy you’re in the wrong place. We were the only tourists staying

The staff, the location full of palms and the food, everything was great. We enjoyed our stay in that quiet and wonderful place. This was really a relaxing holiday, middle in the nature, with access to the ocean. A very nice atmosphere. The lady from the reception was very very friendly and cooked delicious. We plan to come back in the future.

Best place I stayed at in Thailand. Really relaxing on the island, walking on the beach or to town. Reading a book in one of the many hammocks, joining the others for a game of Petanque and enjoying the most beautiful sunsets ☀️ Delicious food, freshly prepared (even vegan/vegetarian on demand). Bungalows with comfortable bed and adjoining bathroom. Really friendly staff & team around the Bungalows. Stay here if you want to be away from to touristy/ noisy spots. Thank you Mr Chung and everyone in the team.

We loved the relaxed and familiar atmosphere at SiBoya Bungalows. Mr Chung and his team are very accomodating and you feel like part of the family. Airport transfer and transfer upon departure was also perfectly organized!

A peaceful quiet stay

We read reviews for here and fancied somewhere off the beaten tourist track so chose to stay here for 2 nights. It was exactly as expected and very quiet which we loved. The food was really good, we were told rough meal times which is fair enough with so few guests. A nice 45 mins walk along the beach and saw no one except a few fishermen, a lot of cows and huge monkey family in the distance. Would definitely recommend if you want a bit of peace from the hustle bustle for a while. Had a fan, aircon didn’t seem to work but we didn’t even ask them about it as the fan was good.

BOILED WATER 20 BAHT

If you think that you make a good deal by booking this property you’re mistaken they’ll get your money on a different way. It’s a nice quiet location away from everything which is a big plus, but in the same time it’s a big minus. Owner of the place using it against his guests. Prices for the food in the restaurant is double, some even 1,5 of the prices compared in average in Thailand. But what killed me the most when I was charged for the boiled water 20 baht , which I considered ridicules toward the guests. I’m using it for my medication. Even the prices was higher than usual I still planned to eat in this place but after been charged for the hot water I refused to spend any baht at this place. For people who still want to come there I’ll provide some information , you can walk or drive motorbike toward the village and eat local food, lunch dishes about 30 baht dinner 40 baht, of course it’s quite a distance 2 km. Also there is a small store near by, just walk on the beach to the right when you looking at the sea and you will see the road ending right on the beach, go to this road and after 100 meters turn on the left, there will be a sand road toward the store, from far away it looks like a regular house. There you can buy water which will be 4 times cheaper than on the property and all other snacks and drinks. Also there are about three or four small stores in the village, over there you can buy fruits , snacks and so on. Small restaurants are: one in the beginning of the village, if you walking from the Siboya bungalow ( she is almost like the owner of bungalow, has a special prices for the tourists) and two other places which charging the same prices as the locals and much testier than the first. They located in the end of the village on the left side of the road, or if you’re coming from the ferry in the beginning of the village and on the right site of the road. Also I want to say about the beach.

Oh my god, where to start, it is like paradise for me. quiet, no people, rural, so good food, always fresh. The best after a busy SEA working time , there is absolutely nothing to do, just rocky beach, palm trees, hammocks and good food, I will so come back again

if you are searching to escape urban busy life, here is the place, very quiet, very remote, no TV in the rooms, no artificial distraction, palmtrees and beach. The food, oh my god, always fresh and cooked when needed, so friendly staff. comes close to my exoectations of paradise, hammokes under palm trees, great food warm water, and a geat partner with me

Lokalita, pláže pro děti s mělkým vstupem, trávníky, bungalovy tak akorát co se týče rozměrů, milí sousedé a interakce s dlouhodobými nájemníky ostatních nemovitostí z celého světa v restauraci. Minimum lidí i na vrcholu sezóny.

Přehnaně vysoké Ceny nápojů a jídla v restauraci, platba za odvoz zpět k molu, absence košů na tříděný odpad.

Uitstekende plek om tot rust te komen, zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame host.

Eten was prima, lekker en voldoende. De airco deed het goed. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Bedden waren redelijk. Klamboe op aanvraag. Er was mogelijkheid voor massage. Pas later kwamen we erachter dat je tours kon boeken en dat je pas in de middag kon zwemmen in zee(vloed) Goede plek om tot rust te komen.

Huisje was erg klein, kon je koffer nergens op zetten, ook geen plankjes waar je iets op kon zetten. Ventilator was erg stoffig en vies. De badkamer, werd wel keurig onderhouden, maar veel beesten. Je moest je slippers/schoenen uit doen in het restaurant.

Bungalow pas du tout entretenu - des trous partout et donc des bêtes qui viennent de partout La salle de bain n’est pas fermée et des cafards et autres bêtes sont présentes dès la nuit tombée - ok quand on est au courant mais la partie chambre n’était pas isolée non plus Pas de draps du dessus Pas de moustiquaire Nous avons aussi eu une invasion de fourmis, je pense qu’il y avait un nid avant notre venue et en 2 jours elles avaient infestées toutes nos affaires - à l’intérieur des doublures de vêtement et tout - et nous n’avions pourtant pas de nourriture dans les sacs… L’hôtel nous a prêté des bombes pour les insectes mais c’est tout. Niveau extérieur c’est plutôt bien entretenu (pas comme les bungalow) l’endroit pour manger est sympa Par contre les prix pratiqués sont presque le double de ceux sur le reste de l’île c’est dommage (25b pour une bouteille d’eau contre 5 dans le magasin à 800m) la nourriture n’est pas mauvaise mais ne vaut pas le prix. La plage est jolie mais pas pratique pour se baigner - en 500m de marche dans l’eau nous avions l’eau aux genoux. Attention les services proposés par le resort : venir vous chercher au bateau, prêt de vélo sont payants mais vous le découvrez (ainsi que les tarifs) à la fin - pensez à bien demander avant pour ne pas être surpris à la fin

Ganz klar die Gastfreundschaft des Besitzers und seinen Angestellten, die sehr gepflegte Anlage und das gute Essen.

Mann muss sich schon mehr zu Essen bestellen, um Satt zu werden. Durch die offene Hütten Gestaltung im Bad, hat man Kakerlaken schon mal drin, für jemanden der das erste mal da ist dürft das ein Problem sein.
