About this house rental
Very nice, clean 4 bedroom, one bath home on beautiful all sports Lake. Lake Mitchell is a 2,300 acre lake that has access via canal to Lake Cadillac which is another 1500 acres. Boat to restaurants, state parks, ice cream shops and downtown Cadillac for shopping , festivals and summer concerts. The views from this house are breathtaking with 50 feet of lakefront on the western shore of Lake Mitchell that is peaceful, great for fishing, perfect for swimming with a nice sandy bottom and beautiful sunsets. The views are spectacular in all four seasons with close proximity to Crystal Mountain, Caberfae, multiple golf courses and Traverse City. This waterfront open concept includes spacious bedrooms with sleep accommodations for up to 10 comfortably. The home is smoke free and no pets allowed.
AMENITIES- Completely furnished and ready for your enjoyment. Lake house has a gas fireplace, bed linens, kitchenware, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, Keurig, crock-pot, griddle, gas barbecue grill, fire pit, hammock, 2 TV's, DVD player, internet, Blu-ray player, air conditioning, and dock for renters boat or jet ski. Outside patio with furniture for spectacular views of lake ideal for relaxing.
ACTIVITIES- Swimming, boating, water skiing, sailing or fishing. Lake Mitchell is clear with sandy bottom and average 15' depth. Shallow area for great swimming and water sports close to shore. Nearby Manistee and Pine Rivers provide world class trout streams for fishing, canoeing or tubing excursions. Many quality golf courses located within minutes of the lake house. Over 500,000 acres of national forest for camping, hunting, and hiking. Several restaurants from gourmet to casual are found on or near the lakes. Downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, are just a few of the winter time activities that are available.

House was clean, great activities to do. Plenty of beds and room in the house. The lake wasn’t very clean but the house and yard were in great shape.

If you're unfamiliar with the area FYI Lake Mitchell is super shallow so don't expect to dive off the end of a dock. But that's part of what makes it great. And if you stay at this property you won't be disappointed. Its a shame it was just the three of us! So awesome.(1) Both drip coffee pot and Keurig with cups. (2) Room for everyone to separate - The set up is one bedroom downstairs, then upstairs on regular bedroom, two bedrooms with double-over-double bunk beds, and an upstairs common area with a day bed. Plus common areas downstairs and outdoors you could avoid your family entirely if you want to.(3) Well stocked - towels, laundry and detergent, bakeware, soap, knives, grill, etc.(4) No pets sorry! But we have a pet sitter now. Might need to adjust our review criteria . . . (5) Is there sufficient internet for people to separate and watch what they want? YES. One TV down and one TV up.

Perfect spot for my brothers and I to take a break with the kids and do a little ice fishing just off shore on Lake Mitchell. All the little creature comforts were thought of with this house, with my favorite being the coffee and drink bar. Plenty of space for the 7 of us.

Beautiful location, the lake view was beautiful. Communication with owner was excellent when we had a small problem which we caused. The operation of the tv was a bit confusing for us given that we are not familiar with Netflix, Hulu, etc., a few instructions would be helpful. Overall a nice place to stay.
