About this cottage rental
The stone cottage is located in the middle of the Chianti hills between olive trees and woods. Unique rental property. altitude about 600 meters. 800 meters from the medieval village of Montegonzi. Unique rental property. The house and entrance are independent from the large adjoining farmhouse (inhabited by my mother, father and me). Gardens, terrace, changing barbecue, patio for exclusive use. Non-infinity pool 8.5 x 6.5. Height 150 cm. Free covered parking 7 meters from the country house. Distance from Gaiole in Chianti 15 km. Distance from Radda in Chianti 25 km. The country house is located in an excellent position to visit Chianti, Val d'Orcia, Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia. SWIMMING POOL OPEN FROM 01/05/2022 TO 15/10/2022 (weather permitting).

We spent wonderful two weeks starting at the 21st of October 2023. The house was immaculate and everything very well in order.
It is safely located on a wonderful premises in the middle of lots of olive trees with a great view to the opposite hillside of this Tuscan landscape.
The host’s mother was welcoming us in an absolutely friendly way and showed us around. Due to our delay, the host herself had to leave before, but it was absolutely charming instead.
The house is fully equipped and has everything that is needed to prepare own meals, using the dishwasher as well as washing laundry.
We didn’t miss anything and slept wonderful in this peaceful area.
We want to thank the hosts for a great vacation at this special place, where we very soon felt at home and where we would return again some other time soon!

Words can't can't describe how much we enjoyed our stay. Anna became one our family and ours hers. She brought a doctor to the unit so I was able to get a needed prescription. She stopped by daily to say hi and we learned to use translate to communicate which was lots of fun. The grounds offer plenty of privacy. Sienna is not far and Multapulciano

The property was beautiful and made a great home base for our stay in Tuscany. The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, the place was clean and neat, and you can’t beat the view. Silvia was very friendly and helpful, and we just had the best time staying there. Grazie mille!

The villa was fantastic and the hosts were lovely. Silvia, Anna & Franco looked after us like we were part of the family and in particular our son. The house itself had everything you could think of and was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area of Tuscany. The villa was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The facilities were even better than described in the advert.We had an amazing two weeks in Italy and absolutely would come back to this area and stay at the villa again if we get the chance in the future. The local restaurant, Osteria di Montegonzi, served lovely food and the views from the terrace are exceptional. They really looked after us and the food was so tasty.We really enjoyed trips to Siena and the villages in the Chianti region. We also visited Florence via the train and even managed a trip to the Lamborghini Museum in SantAgata Bolognese.Thank you again Silvia, Anna & Franco and also for all the little treats; the fig chutney was amazing!
