Carefully renovated "Podere La Massa" consists of a detached house and 8 apartments. It is surrounded by olive groves, fields and it enjoys a wonderful view over the Chianti hills. It is a very quiet position, ideal for nature lovers to enjoy walks or bicycle runs in the surroundings area. Each apartment has its private outdoor area fenced by hedges. We stayed in an apartment on the north side of the house. It was dark (one room has only one window that is under the stairs and the bathroom is also dark!). The smell in some places was not nice (e.g. damp kitchen wall). From other things I would mention many bugs and really uncomfortable bed in the dining room. The road is really uncomfortable and annoying, but the views come at a price! However, the advantages are that it was quite unexpensive, there is a close parking place and the location of the house is really interesting, especially the views. The reception - well, when they say that they speak "little" English, they mean it.
