About this villa rental
House for 6 guests consists of 5 large rooms: kitchen, living room, 2 double rooms, double rooms, 4 bathrooms, showers, full size, as well as a utility room used as a laundry - pantry, all on two floors with a total area of about 210 square meters. Heating with natural gas.
The house offers a spacious garden with yard, paved terrace, tables and chairs, two private parking spaces outside, Wi-Fi.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with sofas, armchairs, satellite TV and wood burning stove; a bathroom with shower; a large kitchen with pizza oven (and not only), fireplace, large table with 8 comfortable seats and TV; a laundry room with the mobile sink, washing machine and plenty of space to store bicycles, motorcycles and other large items.
The rooms are on the first floor, all have private bathrooms and feature a distinguished atmosphere in the coloring of the walls: the lilac room with terrace has a double bed, large chest of drawers and a wardrobe feature; the blue room has two single beds with wardrobe and desk in addition to access to a large terrace; the master bedroom, very large and spacious, has a double bed, a dresser and a very spacious walk-in closet, with a window and a desk, which leads to the bathroom, even from this room leads to the terrace common to the blue room.

A lovely home located in a newer housing complex. Very spacious and comfortable, each bedroom has a private modern bathroom. The outdoor areas are nice although very close to neighbors. The host Mauro is wonderful with excellent communication, offering tons of day trip & restaurant recommendations. He brought us croissants for breakfast one morning & even helped us pay a parking ticket! It was a great property for 3 adults traveling together who each wanted our own room. The town of Cavriglia is more modern but does have an antique bell tower and a quiet central square with a couple restaurants, pharmacy, & Coop for groceries. Everything is a short walk or easy drive down the hill from the house.We spent 3 nights and used the house as home base for day trips around the Chianti region. Mauro recommended driving to Monterrigioni (a beautiful & charming walled town about an hour from Cavriglia), and on the way back stopping at Castellina in Chianti for lunch, and finishing the day in Radda to catch the sunset which was a perfect agenda. We visited Siena on day 2 which was an hour drive & a full day. We had dinner in Cavriglia at the restaurant just down the hill from the house & the food was great. We checked out the next morning & headed for Rome, stopping in Orvieto on the way.
